As a repeat customer I want everyone to know this is a GREAT dealership!! The prices and the people are awesome! Last October I purchased a BMW X3. A couple years ago I purchased a BMW 330 coupe. I cou GREAT dealership!! The prices and the people are awesome! Last October I purchased a BMW X3. A couple years ago I purchased a BMW 330 coupe. I could not be happier with the cars. I now have a winter and a summer Bimmer. Everyone was so helpful and Rachel made the whole finance process a breeze. She was very straightforward, professional and knew her stuff. I was impressed. Chris couldn't have been nicer and wanted to make sure I was happy with both my purchases after I bought them. Chris even found the 'right' car for me (330) and Rachel called me to tell me it just came in. It had all the options I wanted and it was the right color so I bought it right then and there. Hard to find an E46 coupe with a factory spoiler. Since buying the 330 I have also sold a car at Lucky on consignment that I could have not sold without their help. Lucky - thank you for everything. I can't say enough good things about Lucky and all of the hard working knowledgeable people there. Lucky - You're simply the BEST!! Thank you again. I was so happy to hear you opened a second location in Elmhurst. Top notch too. More
Stay away from these guys! Don’t make the same mistake that I made by purchasing a vehicle from them before you read the reviews. It is a world of difference from speaking to them over the phone and actua that I made by purchasing a vehicle from them before you read the reviews. It is a world of difference from speaking to them over the phone and actually being there in person. Horrible customer service! They had literally cut up some floor mats that were lying around the shop with scissors to make them fit. The car was missing the spare tire, rear cargo net, came without the original lug nuts, wheel locks and they even gave me a blank hard key. I had to drive to their other location in order to get the spare tire! While I was there, I took the opportunity to ask if there was any way that I could get the original floor mats. One of the guys there went to another car similar in model that was for sale in the showroom and removed the spare tire and front floor mats, gave them to me and placed the cut up floor mats in that car and left it without a spare tire. Also, I called them after to discuss why they had given me only one keyless transponder with a blank hard key. The sales man just yelled at me to call the dealership! I will never purchase another vehicle from them again, and I want to make sure that no one in my family, friends or co-workers purchase anything from Lucky Motors either. More

Found the car I was looking for online and called the dealership. They were very helpful and the car was actually better than they said. I'm very happy with my experience. I had a horrible experience with this car dealer, I swear. They were friendly at first but things turned out very ugly at the end. I bought a Mercedes truck with a trade-in BMW of mine. When negotiatin swear. They were friendly at first but things turned out very ugly at the end. I bought a Mercedes truck with a trade-in BMW of mine. When negotiating, Sebastian (the salesman) agreed to give us a $250 discount on the truck and a decent price for the trade-in, so we agreed to buy. I was happy because the paper work and financing went smoothly. Despite driving home an hour away, I found out that all the trucks’ mats were gone when I got home. They were there when I test drove the truck at the dealer. I then tried to look for their phone number from the buyer receipt and noticed that there was no $ 250 as they have promised me. I trusted their words by not looking at the receipt when I signed it. A big mistake. Not enough, when I called them to address all the issues, Chris asked why I didn’t look at the receipt and the car before I left. Oh wow, I would if I knew they were thieves. Another problem, after two and a half months of using the temporary license plate, I called them so many times to ensure that it has arrived. They kept saying no, not yet. Until the last they, I called them again, telling them that my temporary plate was going to be expired today. Now, they told me that it has been there. I was so pissed. I would never ever want shop there again. More
I had a great experience with Lucky Motors. The car was exactly as they said it was, and they were extremely friendly from the time I walked through the door to the follow up days after to make sure I was exactly as they said it was, and they were extremely friendly from the time I walked through the door to the follow up days after to make sure I was happy with my vehicle. I will use Lucky Motors in the future, and do recommend them. Sean was a pleasure to work with and very professional, as well as Chris, the owner. The car was in beautiful condition, there was a great price, and there was no hassle trading in my existing vehicle. Overall I had a great experience. More
Lucky Motors is simply the best pre-owned automobile dealer we have ever worked with -- and we've worked with plenty of them. We've bought two vehicles from them so far -- a Land Rover and a Jaguar -- dealer we have ever worked with -- and we've worked with plenty of them. We've bought two vehicles from them so far -- a Land Rover and a Jaguar -- and sold them one. The experience was incredible from beginning to end. The prices were exactly what they quoted over the phone and there were no attempts to sell us add-ons. Sebastian and Chris were so welcoming and genuinely cordial. No pressure at all. The cars were exactly as advertised. We had a minor problem with the Jaguar on the way home and when I called Chris at six o'clock that night he told me to immediately bring it back and he would meet me at the dealership to resolve it. The problem resolved on it's own before I could get there, but you tell me who offers that kind of support after the sale. The Jaguar had a few hale stone dinks that we were made aware of. Sebastian got us a man who repaired them at an amazingly low price. Plus in both sales cases they had us in and out of the dealership in an hour! My wife have NEVER liked the car buying process or dealerships, but she is delighted by Lucky Motors and with its entire staff. They are a rare find -- honest, friendly, willing to stand behind their product and filled with an integrity that is all too often missing in today's world. Lucky Motors is a tremendous find. They've got us as customers-for-life. I wouldn't buy a pre-owned car from anyone else. More
I bought a used Avalanche from this dealer. All of the online ads stated excellent condition inside and out. I asked Mark Reed the salesman how the interior looked and his response was "have you seen the online ads stated excellent condition inside and out. I asked Mark Reed the salesman how the interior looked and his response was "have you seen the pictures?" The pictures were of the good parts of the seats not the cracked nasty parts, yet he never mentioned the actual condition of the seats. He went on to say how nice the interior looked and that everything worked great. I put a $500 deposit on the vehicle and drove 4 hours to pick it up. I noticed the seats first thing and then one of the back windows would barely go back up due to a weak motor. I pointed this out and got a B.S. excuse that the molding was stopping the window. I went through with the purchase thinking that I could fix the minor things and have a good truck. Part of the deal was to have a full tank of gas since I drove so far to get the truck. I got a block away and noticed that it was at a quarter tank. I called the salesman and he said to fill it up and send the receipt to him for reimbursement. I sent the original receipt to him and haven't received one dime. It has been well over a month now. I've emailed him 3 times but he doesn't respond back. While getting gas I noticed that the tires seemed very low. While driving home the truck had a terrible vibration. Since the tires were junk i was hoping a new set would solve the problem. I took the truck to the Chevy dealer for an alignment and they told me the universals were bad. That is probably why each tire was deflated exactly 10 PSI, to make the ride smoother. Also the water pump is leaking. After driving the truck for awhile I started noticing that there was a lot of the night illumination on the dash and door panels not working. The stereo would barely play a CD and had NO night illumination. The back speakers don't work. The ignition key doesn't fit in the door keyholes. The A/C system needed recharged. This truck was supposedly "dealer inspected". So, I guess they knew what they needed to cover up to make the truck sell but certainly nothing was fixed. Now, I'm looking at an estimate for over $1100 and thats not even half of the repairs required to make the vehicle "excellent condition". If I would have known that I would have to spend another $2000 to fix this vehicle; I would have bought a newer, lower mile truck. I realize what it means to buy a used vehicle "as is" but I also know what dealer fraud is too. I didn't expect a mint condition truck but I also didn't expect to be so blatantly lied to about the condition of this vehicle. In my opinion this warehouse of cars is just out for the one time sale to get as much money as they can. I can't imagine anybody being a repeat customer or recommending this place to friends. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and the Illinois Commerce Commission. More
the first question i asked regarding a vehicle was has it ever been wrecked or damaged. the answer was no. upon our drive back to minneapolis, i noticed the drivers door look a little off color. i took the c ever been wrecked or damaged. the answer was no. upon our drive back to minneapolis, i noticed the drivers door look a little off color. i took the car to three bmw dealers here in minneapolis for an estimate. they ranged from $1000 to $1300 for repainting. the door had previously been repainted along with filler. i was never told this. i feel i was scammed and would not recommend this outfit to anyone. they do not stand behind their product.
