After the test drive we sat down with Chris to talk numbers, then we were given a more than fair amount on our trade-in. It was a very smooth process,but the thing I appreciated most was the low pressure sale. At no time did they try to sell me anything more than what I wanted!! I put a lot of research into the product as well as each dealership I was working with so that I was aware of trends or at least the comments of some customer experiences at each location. Below are 3 Great areas that WILL bring me back to Lucas Smith. Below those are 3 areas that Lucas Smith needs to continue to work on to decrease sources of frustration in the final stages of the negotiations and purchase. Three GREAT areas----**** * Pete was an outstanding salesman and his product knowledge was better than most other salesmen I spoke to on this product. He was very timely with his responses to my questions either through email or text messages. * Pete was very accommodating with scheduling our visits and was very helpful with questions from my wife after a couple test drives of vehicles with the features we were looking for. * Pete scheduled the purchase of our vehicle around the "schedule" of the Finance member to minimize our wait time once we arrived at the dealership. Unfortunately this area is also listed under the "needs improvement" area. Three areas that need continued improvement ---- * Special Program Knowledge - Lucas Smith had just started working with the "Coupon" program where by the sales of a certified used vehicle resulted in a $500 Coupons to be used towards the purchase of a new vehicle. I was promised one of these coupons if the salesman earned one before I picked up my new vehicle. When the time came to claim the coupons I was informed that the Coupons were awarded the month following the sales of the certified vehicle. This does make sense however that is not what was discussed and caused some frustration on the day of the sale since I had passed up a significantly better offer at Lou Fuz on the new exact vehicle. * Customer Service - This is the second Jeep that I have bought from Lucas Smith and both times I have not been satisfied with the Customer Service Skills demonstrated by the Finance Person. Multiple issues this time around. Pete scheduled a specific time with this person so that we would not be waiting around. Not sure what came up but this person had to leave the dealership and Pete did a great job of passing the time with us but eventually he decided that he would just fill the time waiting for the finance person to return by demonstrating the features of the new vehicle. An hour later (1.5 hours total) the finance person returned. * Customer Service - Once we were in with the Finance member I noticed that the price was incorrect on the paperwork. We had this same issue back in 2014, along with the lack of good customer service (same person?). Even thought I gave great Kudos to our salesman, this is the one number on the contract that the sales man should confirm. Pete quickly remedied this issue and we move on through the rest of the paperwork. The finance person rushed through all of the paper and explanations and several times had to be asked to repeat things because she was talking to fast. Overall it was still a great experience but I'll be ready for the Finance person lack of good Customer Service skills and the fine details on any Special Programs that are being used to get to my final sales price. I expect that Lucas will have another opportunity to sell us a third vehicle in the next 5 years. The rating provided below are for the entire dealership and staff, even though I was not satisfied with the support from the Finance member. More

Especially with the ability to price cars using the internet as a tool to compare prices, service, etc. As a buyer, I look for someone that has an edge on the next guy. This is what draws me to Lucas Smith. They have an edge by intensionally making an effort to satisfy even the pickiest of customers. Great job, to you guys. More
