Of the 3 CRV’s 2 were purchased at Lucas, both from the Internet sa In 2017 I negotiated the purchase of 3 new CRV’s the latest concluded on Dec 29th. Of the 3 CRV’s 2 were purchased at Lucas, both from the Internet salesman, James MacDonald. This man is like no other car salesman in the industry. He will not try to be your best friend and will not be warm and fuzzy. What he will do is give u the best deal out of as many dealerships as u contact or visit and get u the color and model when the other dealerships tell u that color is not available anywhere in Florida. He has worked for Lucas for 24 Years. There is no xx in his vocabulary. He was able to put together a “3 dealer trade’ to get the color my wife wanted only to be told, “My wife changed her mind on the color.” Fortunately we had not taken possession of the Car or had the leather installed. When I called him to ask if we could get another color I expected “No.” Instead he said give me a day or two and I’ll see if I can find one as he did not have one on the lot. Bottom line...he located one from a Gainesville Honda Dealer. Having bought Honda’s for over 23 years I know of no salesman or dealership to offer such dedication in making a customer happy.
