Customer service at this dealership is horrible compared to other Chevy dealerships in the area.When you pay good money for an extended warranty you shouldn't feel like they are doing you a favor to repair to other Chevy dealerships in the area.When you pay good money for an extended warranty you shouldn't feel like they are doing you a favor to repair your vehicle especially when your asking for things covered under your warranty.With that being said you also shouldn't have to call Chevy's corporate office to make sure the dealership is doing the right thing.Two towns over there is a Chevy dealership that treat customers courteous and fair. Service was terrible I left Lucas Chevrolet not knowing if the brakes on my truck were SAFE. I told them brakes were making a squealing noise when I step on the pedal to put it in gear. Same thing they wer if the brakes on my truck were SAFE. I told them brakes were making a squealing noise when I step on the pedal to put it in gear. Same thing they were doing last 2 times they serviced the brakes . First time they reprogrammed the computer for the brakes, second time they replaced a vacuum pump for the brakes. All they did this time was step on the brake pedal and it did not make the squealing noise. So they did nothing else to test the brake system. I did tell them it did not make the squealing noise every time. They still did nothing else to test and ensure the brakes on my truck were SAFE. I was very frustrated when I went to pick up my truck. They argued with me about testing the brakes. The servicemen Steve said they stepped on the brake pedal multiple times and the was no squealing noise. So there was no reason to test the brakes. I was told twice by the second servicemen that was trying to defend them not testing the brakes further not to come back to Lucas Chevrolet for service. They told me I need the transmission fluid drained and flushed i was told it would be 500.00, I had the truck in twice before for the transmission when it was under manufactures warranty. The warranty ran out this January now I have to pay 500.00 to flush the transmission. I was told two lines going to the oil cooler were leaking. I will be taking my business elsewhere. The service department at Lucas Chevrolet is letting money go out the door. Chances are the transmission will need the torque converter replaced. Brakes will need repair when truly tested and serviced. In the meantime I don't know if my truck is SAFE to drive. More
