Avoid this place unless you like wasting your time I started my search for a vehicle online and my info was sent to 3 local dealerships. Immediately got a call from the Internet Sales rep at Lucas, wh I started my search for a vehicle online and my info was sent to 3 local dealerships. Immediately got a call from the Internet Sales rep at Lucas, which also happened to be the dealership closest to my house. He stated he didn't have the vehicle with my exact specs at their lot, but the team at Lucas would work with me to find and/or order exactly what I wanted, and he referred me to one of the onsite sales reps. Since the Internet sales rep was pleasant enough, I went to the dealership expecting the same level of hospitality. Well, let's just say that wasn't the case! Now mind you, I wanted a Chevy Traverse with 8 seats and a tow package (because we have 6 kids and I own a boat with a trailer). That's it. Nothing else. Unfortunately, 95% of Chevrolet dealers order the Traverse with bucket seats in the middle vs the bench seat, and maybe 20% have the tow package. The odds of me finding a Traverse with a bench AND the tow package were pretty slim. Needless to say, I spent 3 hours there while the sales rep was determined to sell me something off the lot. It didn't matter that I had already told him that the Internet guy said there were no vehicles that had my specs, and I was interested in ordering one. Well apparently ordering one doesn't make the sales reps much money, so this guy tried over and over again to find something to sell me off the lot. After an hour of searching on his computer and running off into the lot to look, he finally returns "I found one!" He's all happy with himself as he brings it out front, and he shows me the trailer hitch. I open the door and say "But it only has 7 seats." He then asks me for my license so I can take it for a test drive. I said "Why would I want to test drive it when it doesn't have 8 seats? I don't want it." "But you'll love it after you drive it." he said. So then I said, "What am I supposed to do, strap my 6th child to the roof?" So after convincing him it wouldn't work because I couldn't fit my family in it, we then go inside and after a few more attempts at searching, he finally proceeds to "build" us the Traverse we want. Finally we're getting somewhere I think. We successfully go through all of our options, then prints out the Traverse he built and takes it to his manager while we wait at his desk. After another hour or so, we wonder why this is taking so long, and then go to investigate. Nothing was being done except everyone enjoying their 3rd or 4th smoke break. No plans to order one. No attempt to find our vehicle. It wasn't even busy there (weekday afternoon). Finally we said, we have 6 kids who will be home from school soon so we have to go. Funny thing is, we just walked out and it's been 2 weeks now and we never heard from them again. Maybe they're still waiting for us to come back. More
Good customer service bur needs better financing. I was not impressed or satisfied with Wells Fargo Bank for financing. I would recommend this dealership but come with pr bur needs better financing.
