Highlights of my recent New car purchase at Lucas Chevrolet , Lumberton, NJ. ( Im a repeat customer, after this never again) 1. Tom Kilroy takes my vehicle for a evaluation test drive (trading i Chevrolet , Lumberton, NJ. ( Im a repeat customer, after this never again) 1. Tom Kilroy takes my vehicle for a evaluation test drive (trading in) and returns my car with driver seat completely detached/ pulled apart from back seat molding, when I confront him I'm told my seat was broken to begin with (Not true). When I ask if he is going to repair the drivers seat I'm told " It's our vehicle now, so calm down". It was not their vehicle as I had not yet closed the sale of the new car. 2. I ask for my car keys back so I can leave the dealership after they qoute me a insanely high price on the new car. Would you believe they would not return my car keys back to me so I can not leave the dealership. 3. We agree on a price but Tom doesn't put it in writing... I do not see the numbers until I have been sitting around the dealership for close to 4 hours. (dealership was not busy, weekday). In the meantime Frank Dudley the salesman repeatedly reminds me to give them a favorable review when GM sends me my customer survey. He proceeds to tell me he'll only make $50 on this sale "after spending sooo much time with me". ( Twenty min. test drive tops. I sat around dealership showroom for several hours) Mr.Dudley, I paid MSRP/ Sticker price plus the extra that was added on to my financing which explains why no one wanted to give me my credit score. You made a killing on my sale. Don't worry, I made sure GM got a completed survey on Lucas Chevrolet!! I will be sharing my delightful car buying experience at your dealership with many. Great way to treat a repeat customer. More
I just wanted to take the time out to recognize the sales group at Lucas Chevy, Ronnie Iezzi especially. Long story short I was pretty much stuck with a car that was giving me an obscene amount of issues ove group at Lucas Chevy, Ronnie Iezzi especially. Long story short I was pretty much stuck with a car that was giving me an obscene amount of issues over the course of the two years I owned it. Somehow magically I had some good luck come across me and I was introduced to Ronnie in sales. At this point I wanted to get rid of the car I owned and get into a newer car. He took the time to listen to me and learn what I was looking for. He didn’t push me into buying anything, or try any sales pitches on me. He didn’t even pressure me with “numbers” until I knew what I wanted and I said I was ready. I can’t even express in words how thankful I am for all that was done. It took a little time to find what I wanted, but when I found the perfect car I was happy. Due to the issues I was having and all that I went through they paid off my trade in so I had no negative equity roll over, and they were even able to give me a great deal on the price of the new car. Ronnie, Joe, and Doug were all a helping hand there the night I finally signed the papers and turned my keys in to the car from xxxx. They all worked together and made sure I was taken care of, and once again I thank you guys so much. I know they may have just been doing their job, but they don’t realize how great they really were, and how much they stand out from all other dealerships and “car salesmen”; here you are guaranteed an honest person and an honest deal. I LOVE the car I am in now. Even though I had a bad experience with a car made by GM, I cannot hold that against the company as a whole. Not everything is perfect, but one thing I can say is they did NOT lose me as a consumer due to the AMAZING crew at Lucas Chevy. Everyone there was so polite and professional, but yet treated me like family and that’s what I loved most. Ronnie really is a great asset to this company, and he is the reason I am a PROUD owner of another GM product. Thanks again Ronnie!!!! More

I purchased my new Chevy Sonic from Lucas Chevrolet in February 2012. I absolutely love the car and the price was definitely right. My wife wanted to get a midsize SUV. We shopped a few other dealerships all over South Jersey and had a good time with the people of Lucas Chevrolet. They treated us with the utmost respect and ending up buying a 2010Chevrolet Equinox. Our time there was pleasant and we were handled with the utmost respect by everyone. An outstanding experience. Actually a few later we came back to the same salesman Frank Dudley because our other vehicle was wrecked to no fault of our own. Because of the class and professionalism we encountered the first time with Frank and his co-workers we came back. With no idea what we wanted we spent all day (5 hours) test driving all types of vehicles and left with a 2012 Dodge Durango. No doubt in my mind I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. Great people who speak to you like a person not like someone just trying to take advantage of you. If I ever need a new vehicle I plan on visiting Frank and the other people at Lucas Chevrolet. More
Bought a used Deanli off Lucas' lot which was supposedly safety checked by the techs at the dealer. My wife drove the truck 42 miles before the front tire fell off! The mechanic we took it too also found, a leaking ware pump, bad oil cooler lines, dirty oil and low fluid levels in transmission and rears. I called the dealer and they told me that repairs could be expected with a used car and it was "as is" I understand some repairs but $1500? No way they safety check a thing on their lot. Stay far, far away from any Lucas dealer. They also "forgot" to cancel my warranty on my trade which they said wasn't their fault. Nothing ever is. Been waiting five buisness days for their manager to call me back. More

Figuring that I would at least take a quick look (I'm used to dealers chasing me out when they close), I went inside to look for Kevin who I had spoken with briefly on the internet. Kevin had left, but Ronnie immediately asked if I had a car I wanted to look at. He insisted on driving the BMW around so I could "see it in the light" and gave me a long time to inspect it. Even when one set of lights went out (automatically due to it being 8pm), he drove around to the other side so I could look at it more. Then he went to get the keys to give me a test drive (after closing and without me asking!). He took me on a nice long test drive, talking about the car and life in general. When we got back we talked a while and without pressure he assured me he was there for any further questions and any assistance. I asked if we could run numbers and he said sure. Realizing it was well after closing, I asked him if he wanted me to come back tomorrow and he insisted that it was part of the job and he was happy to run them that night. He matched the internet price I had seen on the car and I ended up putting down a deposit. They were able to get me a good finance rate and had the car ready for me the following night for pickup. Ronnie was a really great guy, real nice, knew the car well, and gave me a good deal. Very straight forward, honest salesman who knew how to sell a car the right way without being the "typical used car salesman." I would definitely go back to them again. More
I purchased a 2007 Chevrolet TrailBlazer SS from this dealership in June of 2010. The sales manager agreed on a price under the stipulation that I purchase a GMPP extended warranty. The manager outright lied to me and said I was getting an 80,000 mile warranty, while in reality he sold me a 32,000 mile warranty. Later attempts to have the dealership rectify this problem were dismissed. If you want horrible customer service, shop at Lucas Chevrolet! More
