I will be addressing the 3 individuals I spent well over 9 hours with over a 2-day period. First, their leader, Jamie Davis. When initially introduced to Jamie, and confirmed in all subsequent contacts, 9 hours with over a 2-day period. First, their leader, Jamie Davis. When initially introduced to Jamie, and confirmed in all subsequent contacts, he reminded me of my favorite leader over my 45 year career in DoD, General Menetrey, the Commanding General of all 8th Army forces in South Korea during the late 1980s. No higher compliment can I pay a leader then linking him with that great General officer. Jamie's leadership qualities were partially validated when he selected two of the finest professionals I have ever had the privilege to work with: Sara Jones, the dealership's lead finance officer; and, Carsten Zell, who sold my wife, Terrie, and I the 2024 Grand Highlander. Sara was simply charming, one of the most gracious people I have ever met, highly professional and extremely knowledgeable. Terrie and I spent several hours with her; it was our very good fortune that Jamie teamed us with her. We felt as if we had known her for years, and all we were doing was meeting with a dear friend. What can I say about Carsten. He introduced himself as I was entering the building. I liked him immediately. This young man is so good at his job, I am convinced that he ought to be teaching his skills and talent to newly hired people so they, too, can become top notch sales people. I have never been more impressed with someone trying to convince me to buy their product. Later, when I learned he is only 20 years old, I was stunned. Given his abilities, I was in awe. What really impressed me was his natural personality; no feigning by this young man; what I saw is what I got. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone interested in a new vehicle (in fact, I already have). Now, for a word about the vehicle itself. One word describes this car: impressive. With all the intelligent safety features, it reminds of German-made vehicles. The ride is impressive: depending upon one's choice of ride, it is smoother than my Lexus RX-350, and in Sport mode (well, I had to hold on; I could not believe this car's quickness). Finally, a word on this company's business model. This may be common fare, but this is my first exposure to the kinds of "freebies" this dealership offers: free towing within 50 miles; free oil changes for life; and, free annual inspections. Yes, I know it may not sound like much, but what I like is the convenience that these 3 things provide. Finally, the "bumper to bumper" protection for a very reasonable price over the life of ownership. Like most folks, I love all the "techy" stuff, but this glitter can break over time, and it ain't cheap to fix. This buying experience was the most pleasant of my life, and that is really saying something, for I've been on this planet for a few years and I've had quite a few business relationships. More
