They made it seem like they were going over to fix problems with the car, I even addressed some problems I had found. Not only did they not fix the ones I found (Which they said they would), it broke down the VERY NEXT DAY, and they refused to take any responsibility for it. I had to pay $432 to fix the problem. Shortly after, not even a week, more troubles arose. Low oil pressure light, and the thermostat was not working. JT told me to come in that day and they would look at it. What a lie, I came in and they rejected me because I didn’t have an appointment, so I wasted an entire hour and a half driving there and back in a car I wasn’t sure was safe. I am now having to pay $1800 to fix the problems with a car I owned less than 3 weeks. All in all, they are disorganized, dishonest and don’t seem to care too much about customer satisfaction. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go there, and I’ve spread word around base of my dilemma. More
Called on New Years Eve, needed several parts and some tires. Billy took the call, got me in the store, set the expectation for cost and time and was 100% transparent about what my car needed and how long tires. Billy took the call, got me in the store, set the expectation for cost and time and was 100% transparent about what my car needed and how long it would cost. He even saved me some money (around 30% vs. quotes I had received from other garages for the same work. I live out of town but if I was a local I would use this dealership for my service on my Jetta. Great job Billy, you took my average expectations and blew them away with your service. More

First off- They down right insulted my intelligence by offering my 1300$ for my car that I later sold to Carmax for 4000$ even. No hassle. Then when I tried to walk out it took them 30 minutes to get my keys back to me from the employee that inspected my vehicle. During that time they revamped their offer to 3300$ on my trade and would not budge a cent on a 24,895$ sticker price of their GTI. Which is about 1,200$ above invoice listed on VW's web site and still 500$ above their MSRP. Called me repeatedly at times later than 8pm on a week night, still offering to make me a "sweet deal". Never Budged a DOLLAR off sticker price. Mind you they still wanted dealer fee's tax tags and title and the like. The Giant finance manager that I spoke to sat behind his desk and openly admitted to knowing nothing about the cars he sold and tried to show me some "math" on why my offers were outrageous. Then when countered with research I could pull up on my smartphone via KBB and Edmunds he claimed that those values weren't worth anything because its just the internet. So in Summary- Customer service; terrible. the salesman stared at me blankly when I asked most of my questions. friendliness; so good that they liked to call me late in the evening overall experience? I felt insulted and infuriated by their apparent lack of interest in the world around them. price; WORST THING YET. highest initial sticker prices I've seen and good luck getting them to come off them. We later met Lane, Clarion, Sharon, etc etc. These people were super nice! We were later called back after the sale to re sign paper work because we were informed we were charged a bit too much for our gap insurance. Sharon, the receptionist was so sweet and awesome with my son. They talked about his book and she recommended a few others he may like. We talked with Steven, Lane, Eddie, Clarion, and a few others. We soon learned that it also just happened to be customer appreciation day at Low Country VW. Blaine put ketchup ona hot dog for my daughter and got both of my kids a juice. Overall, satisfaction s way off the charts with this dealership and all of the professional, nice, positive, amazing people that work there! We mostly dealt with Steven R and he is one heck of an awesome person and sales man! We would definitely deal with this dealership again AND recommend to many friends, family members. Actually, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great price and confident, professional, friendly service!!! Thanks, Carol and Chris Moore More

F*** NO, the only nice thing about this place is that it is convenient to Mt. P (GO TO N. CHARLESTON). My blood pressure was so high inside that place I almost spontaniously combusted. The Service counter is convenient to Mt. P (GO TO N. CHARLESTON). My blood pressure was so high inside that place I almost spontaniously combusted. The Service counter guy (Greg) should have been fired right on the spot for how rude he was. When I went and talked to the manager, he pretty much just gaffed me off and "waived the diagnostics charge" (which later appeared on my service estimate). The service estimate they wrote up was over $400. I called around to a few other VW dealerships and got the same estimate at about $150 for all of them. FRAUD!. When I approached the manager, he quickly adopted a stuttering problem...obviously he wasn't ready for my research. I bought by car at that place 3 years ago and since then it has gone to xxxx. I'll never step foot in that place again. More

This review relates primarily to my sales experience at this dealership as my new car is under warranty and I've had only one service visit, which was satisfactory except that the service writer tried to s this dealership as my new car is under warranty and I've had only one service visit, which was satisfactory except that the service writer tried to sell me other 'recommended' services at the first 10,000 mile warranty service. I purchased a new Jetta from this dealer in August, 2010. During the deal discussion, the sales manager tried to sneak a dealer processing fee by me bundled in 'tax, tag, title, fees', despite my continued effort to have him present a line item breakdown of pricing. As my distrust grew, I told him he had 3 choices: 1) not budge and I would leave without a car; 2)split the fee and I would buy the car but I was clear that I would not be happy; or 3) remove the fee and I would buy the car and leave a satisfied customer. He chose #2 knowing I was still unhappy with my experience. When my wife came to pick up the car they couldn't find all the keys; and while they were looking for them, the sales manager spent his time 'selling' her on how important it was for her to give them a 5 satisfaction rating in the follow up survey from Volkswagen. This from the man that knew I was dissatisfied, clearly showing little real interest in our satisfaction. It's my understanding this sales manager is no longer at this dealer, which is good; and the dealer has expressed its apology for my experience. More

Everyone from our salesman Joe, to his boss (I forgot his name)to the buisness manager Bob, each person made us feel confident, comfortable and well educated in making such a big purchase. My wife and I went to every dealer in our town and spoke with a lot of salesman who you get "bad juju" from, but you won't find any of that here. What a team! You could not ask for anything more from a dealer. knowledgeable staff, professional, very friendly, and they all take their time with you with no feelings of being pressured. I could keep rambling on about how impressed we were, but in the end, you just have to go meet Joe and the guys at Low Country VW! More
