Once a car is chosen, he works just as hard to ensure everything goes smoothly with all aspects of the sale - financing, paperwork and delivery. He is a consummate professional. He is cordial, courteous and knowledgeable (and if he doesn't know he says so and then finds out!). It is alwys a delight to have a chat when we bring our cars for service. Our most recent purchase was a Tourist Overseas Delivery (We bought the car in Meredith, but picked it up at the factory in Gothenburg.) Due to the pandemic, it had been quite some time since lovering had done one. Dick made it happen with his customary professionalism and "joie de car selling". Dick Hastings and the entire team made car buying a relaxed and pleasant experience. We were new to town and first stopped by because the dealership was local and convenient. After visiting two Volvo competitors, we returned to Lovering. Dick grabbed another car for us to test drive and left my wife and I alone to fully familiarize ourselves with the XC60 at our leisure. That pretty much sealed it for us. Lovering Meredith has a very small town, personalized feel, but with multiple dealerships, they were able to get the exact car we wanted from their sister dealership. And I have to give a big shout-out to Thomas after the sale. He explained all the new technology of a new Volvo in a clear and concise way, and offered to have a second session with us at a later time once we had a chance to drive it for a while. Great job!
