Screwed Over I purchased a 98 ford ranger from this dealership and was told that the vehicle had been inspected by their service department and was good to and tha I purchased a 98 ford ranger from this dealership and was told that the vehicle had been inspected by their service department and was good to and that it came with a 3 month or 3000 mile warranty and if it had any issues in that time frame to bring it to the service department and they would correct it. A few days after driving the vehicle the RPM'S started to surge after letting up on the gas pedal so I called the dealership service department and they said the earliest the could get the vehicle in was on 17 March when I took it in I was told that it would cost me $1,190.00 plus tax and I ask what about the warranty and they told me that it only applied to major engine or drive train failure (this is not what I was told by the sales person } I know I was not buying a new vehicle but expected it to be in good running condition over 1 week. I explained to the dealership that I was a disabled veteran and could not afford these repairs on a vehicle I just purchased and their response was their was nothing they could do. What ever happened to common decency and honesty instead of tell them anything to get their money and then the xxxx with them. More
