Josh Peebles was one of the best salesmen that I've ever dealt with in my 40 years of buying vehicles, including those my wife has purchased. He went above and beyond during and after the sale. When I disco dealt with in my 40 years of buying vehicles, including those my wife has purchased. He went above and beyond during and after the sale. When I discovered an issue with the vehicle AFTER the sale that was unknown to the sales team and myself, he once again went to bat and got the repairs done quickly and at no cost to me. Excellent effort and great communication - I was over an hour away from the dealership. Everyone at Loudon Ford treated us kindly and they are stand-up people. More

Beware of financing tactics. Having a super-prime credit score of 830+ would command the best interest rate. I was given an 8% rate by this dealership from the beginning, stated Having a super-prime credit score of 830+ would command the best interest rate. I was given an 8% rate by this dealership from the beginning, stated to be through “Bank of America”. When I didn’t agree to that rate, they said they’d try another lender, “Chase”. Finance calls the salesman back with a 6.7% rate. Interesting that I was told this rate was through “Chase”, but my paperwork on the finance statement states Bank of America who was supposedly the lender who gave the original rate of 8%. The original lender gave a low rate, but because dealerships are allowed to add points to that rate to pad their wallet, they raise the rate and then whittle away at the inflated rate until you agree on one, all the while staying as far above your true, earned rate as possible. Later they tried to tell me I asked for a 6.7% because I said thats what I got from my personal bank. I never applied for a loan at my bank, nor is there any credit pull on my credit report from my bank. I can absolutely prove this to be the case. In addition, my banks own website shows a 5.59%, of which i have a screenshot, so why would I ask for a 6.7%. Completely ridiculous. The salesman also told me every credit pull goes against my credit score. This is false. You can have your credit pulled multiple times within a time limit for a car loan purchase and it only counts as one hit against your credit score. A tactic to get you to agree to their inflated rate. The salesman also told me each point in finance rate only reduces my payment by $5. False again. I purchased a vehicle that was 35k+. Each additional point would have affected my payment by $20+/ month. That would have cost me approximately $1500 more, over the term of the loan. One works hard to achieve a top-tier credit score, and when people like this completely negate your responsible financial merit, it’s unethical and deceitful. Before I signed the paperwork, I was told by the salesman that the dealership would deliver my car without charge. Then once the papers were signed it became a different story. I was told it would be delivered on Saturday and they even asked what the best time was for me. Then around 3pm on Friday I get a text that the delivery guys are busy doing things with their family. You had a week to arrange for transportation of this vehicle. There’s no excuse. Then they tell me it can be delivered on Monday. I have to work. I’m not missing work and missing income as a result, to wait for a delivery that again may or may not come. I told them on Friday that I will be picking it up myself on Saturday. Keep in mind that this is over 75 miles away. I get a call on Saturday that they found someone to deliver it, as I’m already halfway to the dealership. When I arrived at the dealership, I requested compensation for having to drive out to get the car. They save money by not having to pay 2 people to deliver it. I had to bother a friend, spend gas money, wear and tear on their car, and 6+ hours total out of our lives. My friend also had car trouble on the way back home. After speaking to the salesman and getting nowhere, I asked to speak to someone else. I paid to have the wheels refinished as they were a mess from curb rash. Yes, I paid for this since they refused. I asked to have this $200 reimbursed as compensation. They made approximately $1500 alone just by inflating my rate, so this request was IMO reasonable. A guy (Davey Jones) comes stomping over to me angrily without even introducing himself, walks up to me without even looking at me and says “yeah you’re not getting the $200” and stomps away. I attempted to explain my position as to why I felt it was warranted. He refused. I stated I wasn’t leaving until this was fairly discussed. He then proceeded to state “then I’m going to call the police”, and proceeds to his office to dial the phone. I spent ~$36,000 on a vehicle, and instead of discussing a fair solution, I get threatened by a call to the police, and told to leave and never come back. I want to make it very clear the fact that no threat of any kind was made by me to anyone at that dealership at any time, to facilitate such a threat. This is a factual account of the events that unfolded at Loudon Ford. This Davey Jones is rude and demeaning after the sale, and deceitful during the sale, lacking the ability to control emotions when faced with challenges, and the ability to speak to customers with respect. All I was seeking was fair treatment, but instead was met with a verbal attack, and total disrespect. Arm yourselves with this knowledge, folks. Good luck. More
Great experience with the dealership. I’ve been looking for months for a specific vehicle within my price range and they made it happen. Everyone I met was friendly and helpful. I would give zero stars but it wouldn’t let me. I bought a 2013 Ford Escape for $15,000 on 3/3/2022. Had 91k miles on it was in excellent condition. They offered me an extended warranty for an exorbitant amount which I turned down. Two weeks after I bought it I took a vacation to DC to see the cherry blossom blooms at their peek. Never made it! The car broke down in Frederick MD. I had it towed by AAA to a AAA service center and they found that a misfire had occurred in cylinder number 3. When they removed the spark plug it had come apart and damaged the engine. The plug was a Ford Motor Craft plug probably the original plugs since they are supposed to last 100k miles. The dealers took this car in trade and never bothered to look at or replace these plugs even though they new the plugs probably should be changed. In all my years (50 odd years) of car ownership I have never heard of a plug falling apart inside of a engine like this before. I found after the fact that Ford has had problems with this engine (1.6 turbo and the 2.0) but the recall is only on the 2.0! I’ve called the main Ford headquarters 3 times and it’s been at least a week and a half and no one has returned any of my calls yet! I’m retired and live on a fixed income and bought this car because I trusted Ford to build a good reliable car that they would back. I did nothing wrong other than buy this nice used car and drive it for two weeks! You pay $15,000 for a used car it should last longer than two weeks. I will never buy another Ford and make sure I tell everyone I know that Ford and Loudon Motors does not stand behind their vehicles! When I contacted the dealer after it broke dow they told me there was nothing they could do for me other than tow it there and they could give me an estimate to fix it! To have it towed there would have cost me $1300! I borrowed a truck and rented a car hauler to go down in bring it back. That has cost me in the rental and gas about $400. So now the car is sitting at home waiting to hear back from Ford Motors and also the Ohio Consumers and Attorney general’s office to see who can help me! More

(i already did everything online for them just had to sign papers) sales person was shady. i live out of state. they sent me the me the memorandum title and no check to cover the reg, plates or taxes. after a conversation they final agreed to send a check. it was only for the taxes because the paperwork specifically said sales taxes. called them today and they said they don't pay for plates and registration and the guy hung up on me. I currently have 3 other vehicles bought from Ohio and all have paid for the plate and registration. they collected a 250 document fee which every other dealership the document fee is for the plate and registration. JUST BE CAREFUL BUYING FROM THIS SHADY PLACE More
