We heard many good things through family and friends about Mike Murphy Kia and the radio ad convinced us to give it a try. A BIG try. See, I already knew I was upside down on “Marilyn” ( my car..lol) she had a LOT of miles AND my credit was the lowest it has ever been, plus I had no substantial amount of money for a down payment. I was already prepared for disappointment. But, seeing as all they could say was no, I pulled in to Mike Murphy Kia for my BIG try. We were immediately greeted by Joshua. WOW....just WOW. He impressed me and my parents right off the bat. We told him my situation. He showed me the exact vehicle I had in mind, explained and pointed out all the features and rebates associated with it. We then said let’s give it a try. Let’s go for it. Let me tell you, the ENTIRE staff, went out of their way to make it happen including Mr. Mike Murphy himself. Anywhere else I would not have been able to be put into a vehicle of this caliber....a 2020 Kia Sportage EX. They were extremely efficient, super duper friendly and very understanding of life events that affects credit knowing it does not define the person. Miracles do happen!! I recently had a HUGE health issue which turned my life & finances upside down. Things were getting pretty rough to say the least. I was not feeling too optimistic about getting out of my existing car payment to help me save some money but I knew I needed to make some major changes in my budget. I have always been treated extremely well at Mike Murphy KIA, so when I was ready to change my vehicle situation, I went straight to them for help. I enjoy doing business with this bunch of people. They are AWESOME to say the least. I met briefly with Mike Murphy, Jr. yesterday and he heard my situation but gave me hope and assurance that their dealership would take good care of me. I was asked to return this morning and talk to them. My salesman, Karl Thomas had helped me with a purchase 4 years ago and he actually helped me again today!! He is so friendly, genuine and honest. He tells it like it is. No silly game playing. He took me to see Joshua Kato who did the initial paperwork and showed me my new vehicle. He was so pleasant and gave a personal testimony of how he loves his car (which is the same make & model). Afterward I was sent for the final details to be sealed up with Eric Cabrera. He was extremely efficient and explained all the details. Such nice customer service. I was totally finished within 2 & a half hours & I was stunned!! These guys know their stuff and totally took care of all my needs. I am now in a beautiful & upgraded brand new KIA Rio, my payments were lowered and I am as happy as can be!! On a side note, I mentioned that I am seeking more work to fill in the gaps and Mr. Chase Rogers came over with a phone number for me to call an affiliate of his. Now, this is what "community" means.
