They work for best results. Liz, Landon, Mark, Jeff, Jeremy, and Jason are a very kind group of people who are skilled enough to keep my fleet of autos safe and running. Not the Lou Fusz service I remember and expected I recently returned to the STL area. Admittedly spoiled by outstanding, trustworthy service and first-class surroundings offered by Morrie’s Minnetonk I recently returned to the STL area. Admittedly spoiled by outstanding, trustworthy service and first-class surroundings offered by Morrie’s Minnetonka Subaru in Minnesota, I was profoundly disappointed by the tepid reception, and amateur vibe that awaited me as I pulled my Forester into the Lou Fusz St. Peter’s Subaru service bay. I had a scheduled appt. for an oil change and tire rotation. Note: this dealership sits in a city much more affordable than Minnetonka, MN, yet charges 1/3 more for an oil change and $4 more for a tire rotation. Staff immediately attempted to sell me on an additional $40 in services; recommending a battery clean-up for a 2017 garaged vehicle with only 15,000 miles. It was later revealed that the complimentary inspection would reveal if indeed any battery clean-up was necessary. Guess what? It wasn’t necessary. I am not sure I’ll return to this Subaru service center. I don’t appreciate the attempt to sell me services that were not needed and was less than impressed with the initial service bay reception which felt unprofessional and is where the “add-on unneeded services” hustle took place. Oh, and they didn’t provide the $15 off coupon on your next oil change as promised. I’d expect more from Lou Fusz. Their now gone Dodge service center at Manchester & Lindbergh was exceptional. More
Great service but no loaner like in the past The car was ready as promised and everything looked right. Changing the spark plugs was pricey. The service personnel were great. Upper management The car was ready as promised and everything looked right. Changing the spark plugs was pricey. The service personnel were great. Upper management is losing sight of what made the dealership successful. I was counting on a loaner car while the work was being acccomplished. After spending over 500.00, I would of excepted a free loaner for the day. This was not just an oil change. More

Wrong quote, diagnostic incomplete, First, I just purchased an outback from private seller who originally bought the car from Lou Fusz St Peters. I went there to get service records and First, I just purchased an outback from private seller who originally bought the car from Lou Fusz St Peters. I went there to get service records and asked for a quote for rotor replacement. They quoted me $191; at that visit I did not have the subaru with me. In the meantime I called Subaru about a week later to make sure the quote was still correct, but when I called and left a voicemail, I never received a return call. So when I went back in a month later, they did not honor that quote but wanted to charge $300. They showed me on the computer and it said brake pad and rotor replacement but i just needed rotors. The previous owner changed the pads. Why can't a quote be made for rotors only? I refused service on rotors but asked them to look at a noise in the gear shifter. They recommended i get a Gear Shifter diagnostic for $70 to find out what's wrong. When they finished they came out and said that they wanted me to pay another $70 because they didn't finish the diagnostic in time alotted. They never told me it could be more than $70 for the diagnostic. The diagnostic was close however and got it to two things, either the BIU or the wiring. They recommended I get the BIU and if they plug it in and find it doesn't work, they will send it back and not charge me for the part (which I appreciated). overall, I am disappointed that Subaru never returned my calls, quoted rotors incorrectly, and wanted me to pay for two diagnostics. I am also upset because I drove from downtown stl to go here for rotors when I actually ended up getting them done near where I live in south county for $150 less than what they wanted to charge me at lou fusz. That said, Matt Woodson was very professional with working with me. In the future, i recommend Lou Fusz listen to their customers complaints and bring those complaints to the appropriate parties. In my example, someone should be held accountable for not returning calls. Additionally, someone should be held responsible for misquotes on parts and labor costs. More
