Dishonest service center I was told that my brake hoses needed to be replaced, which they offered to do for $400. Just to make sure, I had my car check again at an independent I was told that my brake hoses needed to be replaced, which they offered to do for $400. Just to make sure, I had my car check again at an independent Subaru repair shop. They told me beforehand that replacing the brake hoses would be $200 job a most, but they would double check Lou Fusz's work to make sure it needed to be done. After inspection and multiple test drives, they could find nothing wrong. When I asked the service center at Lou Fusz about this, they told me the hoses needed to be replaced because "fluid leaked when we opened the brake bleeder valves", which I understand to be the normal state of affairs. More
