My wife and I recently purchased a brand new 2023 CX-5 from this dealership and the whole buying process was smooth and do not have much to comment on that. The car was purchased in July of 2023 and with from this dealership and the whole buying process was smooth and do not have much to comment on that. The car was purchased in July of 2023 and with the car only being 4 months old, we have already began experiencing poor build quality with the vehicle. The exterior trim surrounding the windows has begun to severely warp and become deformed, looking extremely displeasing. When we went into the dealer for maintenance and to discuss this issue, the service center provided very little help with this issue and told us since they haven't seen this before, they wont take responsibility and will not be covering it. They told us they think we took a blow torch to our own car and we intentionally damaged the car, which is about as ridiculous as that sounds. From this appointment on, the dealer told us they will get back to us on their decisions and any quotes, but we are the ones that have to reach out to them as they never seem to get back to us. I am extremely disappointed that after only 4 months we are having problems with this brand new car and the dealer is not offering anything to assist us with this problem and disregarding any concern we have. Please do your research on the quality of these cars as we have not had good experiences in only 4 short months. Apparently, this car cannot withstand being parked outside next to another car without melting. I wish I could recommend this dealer, but at this time that is not possible. More
