Attentive Customer Service I usually get a pit in my stomach when I have to get my car serviced. I worry about being taken advantage of because I'm a female and I'm not an auto I usually get a pit in my stomach when I have to get my car serviced. I worry about being taken advantage of because I'm a female and I'm not an auto mechanic. I love it that some of the service reps here are women. Julie is awesome! So friendly and attentive. They always wash the car when they're finished. They always give ma a loaner car here, too, which makes the experience so much easier. I feel like I'm getting honest customer-centered service here. This time I was sure there was a hole in the tire since I’ve had to fill it three times in the last two months. Even when he didn’t find a hole, the technician searched for 45 minutes to be sure. Staff is confused I had an awful experience buying my car and just recently had an awful experience at the service center. I was told multiple times they don't do recal I had an awful experience buying my car and just recently had an awful experience at the service center. I was told multiple times they don't do recall work on the weekends, but Saturday is my only day I am able to take care of things like this. The person answering the phones was rude and wouldn't let me set up a time for drop off on a Saturday, AND said I couldn't get loaner when I did drop off. I hung up and called back, got the same story from someone new but later was called back by an actual service department worker. He said recall work was done Mon through Fri but I could drop off my car Sat and have a loaner until then. I went that Saturday, got a loaner car, and went about my Saturday plans until they called 3 hours later telling me to come get my car because it was done. If I would have known I would have made plans around this time, instead of dropping what I was doing to get my car when I was told it wouldn't be done until Monday or Tuesday. I was contacted by a service center manager after posting this review the first time asking me to take my review down and he would give me free oil changes, that was almost 3 weeks ago and he didn't send me ANYTHING (after he asked for my mailing address) ...buying the car at the end of 2014 brand new was a bad experience as well, I came pre-approved for my car, was pressured by the finance guy that he could get me a better rate and that I should let him. Long story short, I had 10 more hits on my credit report, and I was financed through J.P. Morgan Chase (which owns Mazda) for a HIGHER APR. They took advantage of me being a younger person, first time new car buyer.... More
Body issue surrounding right rear strut I came in for an oil change and resolution to a noise I had on the rear side passenger, only to find it's a manufacturer issue with rust and corrosion I came in for an oil change and resolution to a noise I had on the rear side passenger, only to find it's a manufacturer issue with rust and corrosion on the body that won't hold the shock in place at the body where the strut contact meets and was told Lou Fusz couldn't do anything about it. I've seen several of these complaints on Tributes/Ford Escapes and Ford/Mazda refuses to take responsibility for poor anti-rust corrosion. The advisor has been helpful in the past but now I'm faced with the notion of junking this car or trying to find a body shop that can get this work done. And I was there within the past couple months and nowhere on the inspection was there any indication this could be a problem in the near future. Despite the high miles I have on it, I took care of this car for my work vehicle and now don't know what to do. I've had a couple grand in repairs made to this car and was wanting to preserve it but all I got was "we can't do anything for it." Safety concerns was the reasoning. Well no xxxx! The manufacturer has screwed this one up bad and I reported it. So I basically was told in no certain words: go find a body shop, but we can't do anything about it. This rust/corrosion issue should be handled by the manufacturer! I filed a claim with the NHTSA. Hopefully multiple others have too. More
I've had better experiences at other locations I took my car in for a routine oil change and was told that my new car only 1 year old needed $200.00 of maintenance. Even though I am a woman, I am not dumb when it comes to taking car of my car. My father is a retired auto mechanic. I refused the addition service and only wanted my oil change. I ended up spending $72 bucks for an oil change which I argued with the guy that I never paid that much for a simple oil change. He asked if I had a coupon and I said yes in my car, he said eh, ok. He still charged me the full price and told me to take an online rebate for the discount. I will never go back to this dealership and I feel completely ripped off. Then not to mention they didn't turn my service light off so I have to go back to tell them to turn it off this week. Just terrible customer service. More
