I have had an ongoing issue with my truck for the past year. I understand it's sometimes difficult to diagnose and is diagnose an issue. However I have made 4 trips minimum into the service centerAt your year. I understand it's sometimes difficult to diagnose and is diagnose an issue. However I have made 4 trips minimum into the service centerAt your dealership. 1st time I had to have the truck towed in. And after the Tech went through and diagnosed and did whatever I get the truck back and within 3 days the same issue happened again. Only this time the the issue stopped. I brought it in and they put it on a laptop to diagnose up to guide knows what was going on and it had triggered every code that the food that the truck could possibly throw out. Make an appointment, it gets driven numerous times trying to get it to do it again to no Avail and whenever I picked the truck up I'm told it was the trailer break Wire. Drive the truck awhile same issue. What is the issue exactly? All of the the warning lights will come on and the speedometer, Tachometer, temp, volts, All quit working at the same time As well as the Chimes going off to let me go to look at the gages. I have looked online to see what could be causing this because as most people know you can find anything online. Numerous people have commented that the issue was traced down to a set of wires that are underneath the dash, On the driver side by the parking brake. The next time the issue occurred, I reached down and touched those wires and everything came back to Normal. 3 weeks ago I was able to stop in at the service and demonstrate what the truck is doing and what those wires do. Move them a little bit and all the gages go off and the warning lights come on. Move them again and everything goes out and the gages start working again. Either because technician technicians have left the service department there or there is an increased volume of people needing their vehicle serviced, comma I was told I needed to make an appointment bemake an appointment because everything was running 2 weeks behind. So I made an appointment for July 18th at 10 AM to bring my truck in. That was 2 weeks after I stopped in to demonstrate the issue. That was a Monday. On Thursday I sent a message to to the service advisor that I absolutely had to have my truck on the following Tuesday morning at my house. That meant that I had to pick it up no later than end of business on Monday. Monday morning about 10:30 I send a message Asking if the truck was finished and when I could pick it up and receive no reply. I sent a message later towards one o'clock And receive no Reply. At 4 o'clock I sent another message saying I was on my way to get the truck. 10 minutes to 5 I get a message saying the service advisor i was communicating with was off that day and no one has looked at my truck. I was 10 minutes away from arriving to pick it up. When I arrived I asked for my keys and that particular service adviser said I will go and get your truck and bring it to you. After waiting a while he finally come walking up saying he couldn't get my truck to start. I walked to my truck but the gaian reached down move that wire and started it right up. So apparently the issue I was having with that particular group of wires was not conveyed or noted anywhere And if a check was to look at it and the service advisor I communicated I communicated this too was not available, he would have had no idea where to start. I have an extreme issue with the fact that I waited 2 weeks to bring my truck in so it could be serviced and I would no longer have this issue and no one touched it. I cannot afford to take time off to unload all of the tools and supplies that I have in the back of that truck and And drive it to the dealership only for it to sit on the lot for a week not touched. I have another issue that I had conveyed to the service advisor that the running lights on the trailer or any trailer I connect to it do not work is work. Since I have connected several different trailers, it is something to do with the truck. I had a guy put a tester on it and he located the pen that operates the running lights and said that it was getting some it's getting some voltage just not enough to operate the lights. I have spent hours on the Internet reading different situations for listens for why the gages come come on to locate or narrow down the issue being that set up is being that said of wires. Next issue I have is when I brought my truck to have it looked at this last time I was told that because I put 4 LED the whiteNext issue I have is when I brought my truck to have it looked at this last time I was told that because I put 4 LED lights That act as daytime running lights, Connected to the factory installed toggle switches inside the passenger compartment, That I may have voided my extended warranty that I purchased. However, it clearly States in the owner's manual that that is why those switches were put in the truck. And since they are not connected to the wire harness that is causing my issue should not void my extended warranty. I picked the truck up on Monday at 5 o'clock. It is now Thursday at 5:30 and no one from the service department has called to explain to me why my truck didn't have a technician assigned to it to get it repaired when I set an appointment according to to your specifications. And the issue with that wire has now increased to Occur 30 to 40 times while I'm driving. I will now have to make another appointment to have the truck repaired. I am strongly considering taking it to a different dealership dealership that will actually take the truck in and work on it immediately so I can have it back back to do the work that I need to do to pay for The truck. Collectively my truck has spent over a month in your shop....... Scratch that on your lot Scratch that on your lot. Don't know how much it's been in the shop. This has cost me a lot of time and money. The job I needed it for on Tuesday was $3000. When my truck comes into the shop I have to let my vendors know that I I'm limited on what I can do and those $3000 jobs will go to someone else. It is An extreme disappointment in how I have been treated trying to get this issue remedied. The salesman that sold me the truck was awesome was awesome. The finance department absolutely wonderful everyone inside the showroom i could not be happier with. I feel the service department has put me on the back burner numerous times now despite the fact that I try and be as nice and pleasant as I possibly can when I am there. Was having problems with Sunset Ford trying to get my 2016 F150 (Purchased new from Sunset) brake safety recall taken care of. Called Lou Fusz & was able to get the repair scheduled in a short period of 2016 F150 (Purchased new from Sunset) brake safety recall taken care of. Called Lou Fusz & was able to get the repair scheduled in a short period of time. Took it in on my scheduled date and dropped it off. I worked with Brandon Piel and he was a pleasure to work with. He explained that they may have to order the brake booster & that would be a 2 day delivery. The safety recall service was completed in 3 days!!!! I am very happy with Brandon’s professionalism and the quick turnaround of my truck! More
