I have no idea how this dealership has not been closed down for fraud. The moment we walked in here a bait and switch occurred when they told me that the vehicle I was shopping for was much higher than it down for fraud. The moment we walked in here a bait and switch occurred when they told me that the vehicle I was shopping for was much higher than it was listed on their website since I would only get it for that price if I traded a car in and financed the vehicle with them. I got an out the door price after the bait and switch and negotiated with them until the sales manager Emil and I agreed on a price we were both comfortable with. Here is where the major criminal activity began. The finance manager Marcel came in and started acting all friendly. He then proceeded to act worried about getting us approved and left the office. A few minutes later he came back in with the biggest BS story in history. He started going on about calling a personal friend at a bank since we were not getting approved, and vouching for us personally and promising we were going to buy extended warranty and gap insurance which was going to make it so that we were approved and got a better rate. When I told him I was not interested in purchasing anything but the car, he said that we should talk in his office. Once we got in his office, he bluntly said that the deal that we got was contingent on us buying at least the gap insurance or that they were not going to sell me the car. After telling him that he was committing a Forced Extended Warranty Scam, and that it was a crime, he said that he was not forcing me and that I could either take it or that they could sell the car to someone else. I then proceeded to ask for the sales manager that gave me the deal to begin with. The sales manager Emil basically said that all his deals are "subject to financing" and that the deal had to make sense for them or that they would not sell me the car. I confronted him about the scam and told him that he had already agreed on the price of the car and asked him what would he say about me just paying for the car cash. He said that he would not sell the car cash for the price that he gave me. I got up and started walking away as he was telling me that they were not forcing me to do anything, although they would not sell me the car if I did not fall for their scam. After letting him know that I recorded the whole situation and was going to send it to corporate, he told the finance manager Marcel to just give me the deal. The lengths that you have to go to in this dealership to just buy a car without getting scammed baffles me. I later tried contacting the GM to let him know what the scammers that work for him were doing, and he did not reply to my email. More
