Brand new Equinox broke down after 2 months ! The sales staff was great. Car buying experience was great. Did not expect the new car to break down after two months. Has been in Service for three The sales staff was great. Car buying experience was great. Did not expect the new car to break down after two months. Has been in Service for three weeks they tell me they cannot find out what is wrong with it and why it broke down said I needed a new catalytic converter replace that then my engine light came on had to take it back they don’t know why they replaced a fuse or some exhaust thing, left again to days later service engine light came back on again had to take it back in. Then they did not have a loaner to give me. No one answers your phone calls for service manager Sean never called you back had to contact corporate office ,still not resolved . The service tech said the new diesel equinox has “bugs” that need to be worked out and they did not know how or what was wrong to fix my brand new car!Inquired about Lemon Law and was told immediately did not qualify. After 3 visits to service dept, the lemon is still there and we are making payments on a car I can’t drive! More
Oil change that required 4 service visits We took a brand new 2018 Chevy 2500 High Country in for a free oil change. We did not purchase the truck there. When my husband backed out of parking We took a brand new 2018 Chevy 2500 High Country in for a free oil change. We did not purchase the truck there. When my husband backed out of parking space, the front driver's side wheel fell off truck. Had to order new rim. In addition, all 4 tires were not inflated properly. 2 weeks later we returned for rim. One week later we turned to have oil level corrected as it was overfilled. Today, in Texas, we had to take the truck in AGAIN for a rattle in the same tire. The hub was loose inside hubcap. The service dept neglected to tap it in. Our truck will never be taken to this dealer again. More

This caused the headlights to aim to high into the faces of oncoming traffic. Went to Coconut Creek Chevy to have the headlights adjusted. They told me it would take about 1.5 hours and charge me for 1.5 hours of labor. After about one hour and forty five minutes they told me my truck was ready. The GM mechanic told me that he adjusted the lights down as far as they would go and I should be alright. “I should be alright” is not what anyone wants to hear. They charged me $217 !! For this adjustment. Later that night I drove my truck. The mechanic was correct, he adjusted the lights all the way down. My lights pointed at the ground right in front of my truck. Aggravated, I googled headlights adjustment. So it turns out that this $217 one and a half hours of work consists of this. Open the hood of the truck and turn two Phillips head screws. No exaggeration, it took me five minutes to correctly adjust my lights. this is an example of why dealerships have a reputation of being crooks and ripping off customers. This was a perfect opportunity for the dealership to be honest and say it will take us a couple minutes to do this, not a big deal. This would make me a return customer. Instead they lie to me, charge me $217 and don’t even fix the problem. They lost a customer and I hope others use caution before being serviced at this Chevy dealership. More
horrible experience with service department I brought my car in for the standard 50,000 mile service. When I brought my car in it ran beautifully. They told me there was a leak and that they had I brought my car in for the standard 50,000 mile service. When I brought my car in it ran beautifully. They told me there was a leak and that they had to remove my whole engine to fix the leak, which was covered under the warranty. When I left the dealership, after my service visit, my car air conditioning wouldn't cool unless my car was moving and the car ran badly when in idle. It got considerable worse over time. The car then started to stall out when at a red light. The air wouldn't cool and the car kept stalling. I brought the car back in and asked them to look at it. They wanted to charge me $140 to look at it again. They waived the fee since I was bringing it back from the service visit I just had. They looked at it again and said there was no problem. The rep said they lubed the disk and it was running good. I picked up my car, and it ran ok for a day. It started with the same problem again so I brought it back AGAIN. They said they looked at it and it DID need a new disk. I told them to go ahead and replace the disk; I signed a quote form saying it would not exceed $400. They sat on the car and did not do the work. I came it to pick it up later that evening and they told me they didn't do anything with it. I had to leave it yet another day. The next day they told me the disk was fine that is was only the wiring that was loose. They are wanting to now charge me $377 to adjust the wiring correctly! I never had a problem until I took my car for service originally. They are now telling me I have to pay something that was caused by their work! The service manager just informed me there would be no charge. If that is the case, I will change the rating to a 2 star. More
Terrible Customer Service Brought my Corvette in four times for basic maintenance... Nothing more than an oil change or alignment.. Every visit ended badly. They over promise a Brought my Corvette in four times for basic maintenance... Nothing more than an oil change or alignment.. Every visit ended badly. They over promise and under deliver every time.. Do your self a favor and find another local dealership... Its wroth the extra drive time if necessary... Here are some of things I experienced, even under the new management. 1. My wife had an appt for an oil change. She arrived ontime, only to wait two hours... Not a problem if she wasn't 8 months pregnant and with a two year old.. They told it would be a half hour. 2. They say you can drop cars off at 7am and get a ride. That would work if the service writers came to work on time. Twice I was there at opening.. Only to wait until 7:15 for anyone to show up.. Then when they do... they don't even bother to apologize. 3. Communication: Good reaching them and don't expect a call back... 4. Don't expect the car to be ready when promised and don't expect a call to let you know its done.. Twice they failed to call me... so I was forced to call over and over... only to have them not answer. 5. Drivers hate management: The staff does not play well. Get in the car with a driver and all they do is complain about how bad management is.. and they are right!!! 6. Check who is doing the repair work. they will put unqualified techs to fix your car. Had a friend that worked there. His stories about their shortcuts are scary to say the least.. You have been warned.. Go there at your own risk. More

Traumatized Over the Chevy Recall My vehicle was taken into Chevy May 19th for the ignition switch recall. Already, a big deal. I was given a 6-8 week time frame for my parts to be manufactured, sent in, and installed. Now being August 21st..... 13 weeks out my cars recall has been performed. Timing was not the only problem! When I received my call that my recall had been performed, I was prompted that my battery was now dead and my car would not start! I wonder why a car would not start after sitting for a recall in the hot garage... It wasn't started for 13 weeks!~ Of course, that would not be Chevy's responsibility to fix. They already lost so much money for the recalls and having to pay for rental cars, THEY MUST TRY TO MAKE SOME MONEY! Needless to say several employees were not even remotely helpful with the battery situation. Michelle Dysch talked down to me as if I did not understand how a battery even worked. She also was very rude in every aspect of the conversation. I spoke with individuals who are directors in the service department and neither of them were flexible or understanding my frustration either. After phone calls and emails to others a part of GM, it was all sorted out. I did finally get word that they would replace my battery with no cost. Unfortunately, it did not stop there. Casey Salman another man that works in the Chevy service department was the gentleman who did final paperwork with me before I received my car. His smug, disrespectful, and arrogant behavior was completely unacceptable! I was treated poorly because I was the customer who got exactly what she wanted and deserved. Not to mention the fact that when signing final paperwork I was for the first time informed that I also needed new tires and brakes. Thank you so much Lou Bachrodt Chevrolet for warning me on the remarkable conditions of my car immediately before I leave in it and never use your service again! More
