I was given a 6-8 week time frame for my parts to be manufactured, sent in, and installed. Now being August 21st..... 13 weeks out my cars recall has been performed. Timing was not the only problem! When I received my call that my recall had been performed, I was prompted that my battery was now dead and my car would not start! I wonder why a car would not start after sitting for a recall in the hot garage... It wasn't started for 13 weeks!~ Of course, that would not be Chevy's responsibility to fix. They already lost so much money for the recalls and having to pay for rental cars, THEY MUST TRY TO MAKE SOME MONEY! Needless to say several employees were not even remotely helpful with the battery situation. Michelle Dysch talked down to me as if I did not understand how a battery even worked. She also was very rude in every aspect of the conversation. I spoke with individuals who are directors in the service department and neither of them were flexible or understanding my frustration either. After phone calls and emails to others a part of GM, it was all sorted out. I did finally get word that they would replace my battery with no cost. Unfortunately, it did not stop there. Casey Salman another man that works in the Chevy service department was the gentleman who did final paperwork with me before I received my car. His smug, disrespectful, and arrogant behavior was completely unacceptable! I was treated poorly because I was the customer who got exactly what she wanted and deserved. Not to mention the fact that when signing final paperwork I was for the first time informed that I also needed new tires and brakes. Thank you so much Lou Bachrodt Chevrolet for warning me on the remarkable conditions of my car immediately before I leave in it and never use your service again! More

Had a terrible experience with Kent Smith, he quoted me a price, in writing and then went back on it when we came to sign the lease. Typical car salesman - rude, arrogant and obnoxious! I'd stay away unless price, in writing and then went back on it when we came to sign the lease. Typical car salesman - rude, arrogant and obnoxious! I'd stay away unless you want to aggrevation. There are many other locations to choose from - do yourself a favor and pick another one! More
Marty was great at finding the car I wanted, with extras at no extra cost. Originally he thought he had one at one of the sister properties only to find that it was sold and had to make a dealer to dealer at no extra cost. Originally he thought he had one at one of the sister properties only to find that it was sold and had to make a dealer to dealer trade to get the one that I wanted, so it took a few days. The paperwork seemed to take a bit more that what is needed. But in the end I am happy and have a car I enjoy. More
I have leased 2 vehicles through Lou Bachrodt Chevrolet. I went through their Internet sales department working with Renee Smith both times. It was a pleasure leasing a vehicle through her. Renee is fanta I went through their Internet sales department working with Renee Smith both times. It was a pleasure leasing a vehicle through her. Renee is fantastic at her job. She was very "up front" with me and letting me know what they could do and not do. We worked out most of the details ahead of time. When I showed up at the dealership there were no surprises. She hustled the entire time I was at the dealership. The only reason I gave a 4 (Good) rating for Overall Experience (rather than a 5) is because the amount of time it took at the dealership seemed a little excessive. Even though it seemed like Renee was always running, it took a while before I was finally able to sign the final documents. It might have just been a busy day (or because I showed up with little warning). More

I even have the email communication between the salesman and myself. These guys are all low life sharks. They gave me an oil change and said they fixed the pull in the steering wheal. My tires were bald after driving 15,000 miles. My friend purchased a new vehicle there and they came back after 10 days and said they couldn't get the financing promissed to him. He returned the vehicle, went to Maroone and saved $2,5000 for the same vehicle with more options. Go to Maroone to buy a vehicle. They are a publicly traded company with ethics. More
Just bought a 2010 certified chevy Aveo from Lou Bachrodt Chevrolet in Coconut Creek . WOW, what a great deal and the warranty is actually longer than had I bought it brand new. The entire staff was fabulous Chevrolet in Coconut Creek . WOW, what a great deal and the warranty is actually longer than had I bought it brand new. The entire staff was fabulous and even went the extra mile to get me a very special finance rate. After reading someof the reviews, I had some concerns but the proof was in the pudding. I really think that people who are unhappy for whatever the reason are much more likley to publish scathing reviews and happy customers like me usually dont take the time to post the good news. I have nothing but praise for this place, their management and especially the great guys n the finance office. Unlike some of the reviews here , i will gladly tell everyone I know to try them out. To cut a very long story short, I came in with the intentions of buying a specific car. I consistently was harassed by different workers. I was told that no matter how the play with the prices, there intentions of buying a specific car. I consistently was harassed by different workers. I was told that no matter how the play with the prices, there will always be a $799 dealer fee (which I still do not understand). Eventually we came to terms on a very acceptable price, which was way beyond what I wanted to pay but I agreed to the terms because I really wanted the car. As soon as they realized I wanted the car, my life became xxxx. They harassed me more to buy the car, and to fill out a survey saying I was completely satisfied with everything. When I said I wasnt completely satisfied, I was asked to sign a contract saying I wouldnt send in the survey, because they dont want to receive a bad review. I agreed since I didnt have any serious problems. They told me to come in the next day to pick up the car. The next day I phoned to get the VIN number of the car to insure it and they told me that I should come in because they dont want to sell me the car anymore. They claim that they will not sell me the car at the price we asked for due to me not being satisfied (does that make sense? i'm really not sure). I explained that I was not very irritated, but will be happy so long as I receive the car for the price we agreed on. They refused to sell me the car and kept insisting I was not satisfied, putting words in my mouth. Now, I am extremely dissatisfied. Even if there prices seem low, you are better off going to a dealership where the sales people are genuinely friendly, there is place to sit, and most importantly, you will not be lied to. I have dealt with many car delaers and none have been as untruthful as this one. Believe the horror stories and speak with anyone who has been there, they are crooks. Oh, and if you don't believe any other reviews about how bad Lou Bachrodt is, just try to phone them and have them call you back. If they pick up a phone you are lucky, so imagine what friends who warned me about them deal with when they have a problem with there car. More
My son went to this dealer to purchase a new Traverse which the dealer didn't have. It seemed that many of the sales folks at this dealership were riding around with them and this dealer tried to sell my which the dealer didn't have. It seemed that many of the sales folks at this dealership were riding around with them and this dealer tried to sell my son a demo which he waited around to see for hours. He hadto come back a second time because the dealership couldn't find one after he was called by them and was told they had a traverse to show him and when he got there was told by sales person the owners daughter had it and he waited around four more hours because the sales person had to drive over to the owners daughter house, and when my son finally saw the vehicle it was very dirty inside from her children who she drove around in this vehicle. He finally became irate and left. He went to Toyota and purchased a Camry and a Venza. Renae the sales lady was very curteous and helpful. It wasn't her fault that the business was run like a zoo.My son waited around on nov15 Sunday for six hours, and the second time he went there waiting for this Traverse he was there for four hours.
