This business has left both of my parents unsatisfied customers with an expensive purchase they don't love or really care for and simply weren't ready to make. No one's car viewing/purchasing experience should EVER be this stressful! 1. Pressure tactics: Due to my father's extensive surgery and long commute for treatment, my parents were thinking of leasing or maybe purchasing a car. I asked my parents to research cars so they decided to JUST LOOK. My mom had tons of leasing questions and asked her to ask the sales team. The parents told me that they didn't plan on buying a car that day, but came home with one. They said it works, nothing special about it and my mom felt and still feels strongly (about a month later) that the sales person pressured my dad to buy it. 2 Unreasonable sticker price: $21K 2012 JETTA with maybe 56 miles on it. First, my mother asked to LOOK at the most inexpensive models on the lot. She was thoroughly disappointed that she did not have any color/option choices as it was the only one on the lot. Second, they "discounted" it $3K ($18K end price) which is still an unfair depreciation value - $4K would have been standard (http://www.kbb.com). No negotiation price is what my parents explained to me. I'm really unclear as to the "DEAL" my parents got when the 2013 models are the same price! 3. Did Not Honor Loyal Customer Rebate Certificate: My parents have been driving Volkswagen cars for 30 years. They received a $750 Loyal Customer Rebate Certificate in the mail from Volkswagen (not this dealership). They mentioned the VW rebate to the VW dealership and would not honor the certificate. What's unsettling is that my mother has called several times to ask about why and nothing has been done. I'm posting this so other consumers can be informed as to how this business operates. My mother has complained several times but no one has offered any solutions to resolve her dissatisfaction. More
This was by far the best car buying experience I've ever had. Eric Welsh (salesman)was one of the most helpful & considerate people I've ever met. Everyone that I dealt with was friendly helpful. Most of the financing end of it was done through emails Richard secured a great rate with BMW Financial took care of everything once i decided on the vehicle in an hour, I picked up my vehicle that evening! They even drove my vehicle I drove in with home! Excellant first class service through the entire process!! I used to go out of town Chicago area for deals on vehicles, this was by far one of the Best experiences I have had making a vehicle purchase or any purchase! Thanks guys! T Hamilton More
I went to look at a 2500HD they had on their website for 15000 less than what the sticker so i figured id check it out. So i figured id go inside and this nice gentlemen named Lou opened the door for me and was really nice. I said i was interested about the 2500Hd duramax they had for sale and he didnt have a clue what the xxxx i was talking about. So he says ill help ya anyway. After that if figured id drink their coffee and get something out of the experience since it was a bombshell after that. Hate to say this is my local chevy dealership to take my Trailblazer SS for a service center. No thanks probably wont step foot there again! More
I had an absolutely wonderful experience here with a dealer whose first name is Joe. I filled out my app 2 weeks ahead of schedule, they got me approved within a day. I didn't go in until a few days later to look at the cars, and test drive. The car with the features I wanted wasn't there so they checked the area, found the one I wanted, and had it in within 3 days. I was in the car 2 days after that. I was treated with respect, I wasn't rushed, I feel I've been well informed, and I feel they seem to care a great deal about making sure I am happy with the car down the road. The morning after I bought the car I received an email from Joe thanking me, and offering help if I had any questions. I had a very good experience with this company, and hopefully it will continue to be this way. Go to Joe!!! More
I am still not used to the prices of autos trying to get to a streamline approach. Willie Benson has been working with me since last year as I was working on getting my credit in order. Even though we knew right off of the initial credit report it would possibly a year for my situation to change, he still treated us with respect and dignity. 6 months later our credit situation got a little better. I applied at many dealerships but still contacted Willie Benson again. Willie welcomed us back with the same integrity that he initially displayed. I told Willie from the start that I have contacted several dealerships since I was still on the fence on what car I wanted etc. In the mean time I had sent an email for a Chevy Cruz I saw online. I received immediate response from Aaron Fulcer. Aaron gave me the straight talk and got me an awesome deal on the foglight option for our 2012 Chevy Cruz LS, everyone in Boone county knows how much of a need the lights are in this area. When I finally arrived at Lou Bachrodt. I was greeted and treated like I was paying cash for a corvette or two. When it came time for finance, Jason pulled some amazing strings. I know with my credit score and over utilization on my credits cards trying to repair my old bomber that the rate I was given was unbelievable. I know a little bit about this as I actively monitor my credit via myfico.com. Larry who actually did the final step in finance since Jason was off for vacation I believe, did an amazing job fitting the Gap and extended warranty into my budget. I am not stupid I know they still made money but I feel I got an outstanding deal from what I compared and researched from other dealers. While there I did receive a phone call from a General Manager at another dealer offering me a payment that was $40 lower than what I have and also with $400 less of a down payment because the dealership was going to split the down payment with me. You may ask why I didn't go take that deal? Well that dealership has done nothing but mislead with their pricing of the car, no follow up with sales, basically they figured screw us. Being a mixed couple in a time when racism and/or stereo types have not really went away. We felt at home at this dealership. JR is another sales person who we did not do business with put still made my family feel at home while I was doing paperwork. Every other dealership we have visited, the other sales staff did not give a xxxx about you if the sale was not theirs. I met Rob Hamilton and expressed my feeling on Lou Bachrodt Chevrolet. Rob was a very nice person, he does look like a smaller version of Brock Lesnar. Rob assured me that I we would be well taken care of at Lou Bachrodt Chevy. As long as Chevy keeps making good cars I will shop at Lou Bachrodt. But if Willie Benson leaves I would have to give him first crack at my business. Very excellent experience! More
We went shopping at Lou Bachrodt for our dream car. Found one we liked, took it out for a test drive and went inside and filled out the required paperwork...all on a Saturday. Monday we get a call from Scott Henneberry requesting verificaion of financial items. Faxed all required paperwork Monday morning, called Tuesday morning to find out if they received the requested items, left a voicemail and now here it it wnesday night and we haven't heard from anyone. I think they should have enough respect and courtesy to return calls and let prospective buyers know what the heck is going on!!! More

But this time i used the shuttle service and a ver dept and i have always dealt with Courtney Karau and she is very friendly and always professional. But this time i used the shuttle service and a very nice gentlemen by the name of Gene Bell drove me to work and when my car was done he came and picked me up and drove me back to Bachrodt. I have to say he made the trip very enjoyable. He is a super nice guy. More
