My service advisor was Benny Perera. Benny was extremely professional and most importantly made my experience wonderful. It was the first time having my car serviced. I was on my way to lunch, when i pushed my start button and nothing would turn on. After several attempts to try to get the battery to kick in, I had to jump my battery to get the car to start Thinking I and nothing would turn on. After several attempts to try to get the battery to kick in, I had to jump my battery to get the car to start Thinking I must of left some light on to cause the battery to drain, I went on my way to have lunch. At time of departure, I was shocked find my battery once again dead and my car unable to turn on. Its a Saturday afternoon 3:00pm and I call my dealership Service Department Doral Buick and spoke to Mr. Benny Perera. He was so friendly and told me to come right over to check the battery. I was expecting for him to set up an appointment for either Monday or Tuesday, but instead I drove out with a new battery and a great experience at a dealership...Mr. Perera's customer service was excellent...I'm making sure I ask for him next time I have service on my car. Thank you Benny for your outstanding efforts in making a customer very happy. More
I had a horrible experience with this service department. Long story short, my car (2008 G8 GT) lost complete power on the highway while I was making a trip to Miami. I found the closest dealership to my hot Long story short, my car (2008 G8 GT) lost complete power on the highway while I was making a trip to Miami. I found the closest dealership to my hotel and dropped off the car. The next day around noon I received a call saying the car was a simple fix and I owed $320. I normally work on my own car but I was without tools and did not have any time as this trip was for competitions (Civil engineering). I was charged $150 for a Mass Airflow Sensor which I was told just died (nobody I have ever talked to said they just die.. including the dealership I had to bring it to later on). Also a charge of $160 for labor was ridiculous based off the fact that it comes off with 2 screws and then put right back in place. Its a 5 minute job. I just needed my car back and I paid and expected it to be fixed. 150 miles down the road, the SAME EXACT ISSUE HAPPENED!! I paid another $170 just to get home (didnt have time to investigate the issue). A trip from Miami to Jacksonville should never take 12 hours. I contacted Doral requesting a refund and they told me that I would have to bring that issue up with GM Customer Service. I contacted GMCS and explained the entire issue. They worked with me and another dealership in Jacksonville to correct the issue (faulty fuel pump, covered under warranty). Welll by the end of that, GMCS told me that they are not incharge of refunds and that I would have to contact the dealership. Had I known this, I would have filed a dispute with my CC and received my money back. I sent an email to the service advisor I worked with, Tony Herrera. It was a nice email stating the issues that I had and requesting a refund. I received a voicemail the next day from him and he was not happy at all. I tried calling him multiple times, leaving voicemails and sending him emails. When I finally received a response, it was very rude. He was not professional at all stating that I never called him (I know I did since it was the number on his business card) and just blatantly said no refunds without a reason. I feel as if I was taken advantage of based on my situation and treated very poorly after I paid. The only thing positive I can say about the dealership is that it was very clean. I will be posting this everywhere that can have a review on this dealership and hopefully I get my word out. More
