John was extremely helpful and the minute I walked through the door he jumped to help me with my queries. He was very knowledgeable of the product he was selling and made the whole experience easy and delightful. I would also like to acknowledge that Ray was also extremely helpful and informed me to bring in all the paper work necessary to complete the deal in advance so I was fully prepared for the closing. I would highly recommend anyone who is looking to purchase a vehicle to at least visit this location to learn what it is like to interact with professionals who care about their work . More

Have had a great history. This was the 7th Subaru we have purchased from this dealership. We always have been treated well and they have a tremendous service department. However, our initial salesperson was a bit disappointing . We chose a car and finally set on a price and date for pickup, When we went to our appointment to pick up the car, our original salesman, David F., was busy with other clients. We had made an appointment with him. Another salesperson, John A., kindly handled the delivery procedure so that we would not have to wait for David. When John inspected the car, he discovered one of the accessories I had paid for had not been installed. He quickly set about checking on it and got our new car into the service center and the device was installed pronto. David, however, should have been the one to have checked the car out prior to our appointment so we would not have to wait for the accessory to be installed. John then spent quite a long time thoroughly explaining and then showing me features of the car that were new to me. He was wonderful. The manager apologized for the error made by David, and made some compensations. They did bend over backward to try to make it all right. The manager also had our original salesman apologize for the error. I did not want to downgrade this dealership for one man's error. In the ratings below, I am rating John Agby. More

Everyone is friendly, helpful and most importantly they aren't pushy. I love the low key atmosphere where I don't feel pressured into buying something that's not right for me. Between myself and my family, we have now purchased 4 vehicles from Long over the past 4 years. Each time, we have requested to work with Lisa and we haven't been disappointed. She makes sure she understands what we want and makes suggestions accordingly always keeping in mind our needs. I especially enjoy her warm personality which takes a lot of the stress out of car buying. And when I go in for service, she knows who I am and always asks about the car. That wouldn't happen at most dealerships and is a big reason why we have returned so many times. I highly recommend Long Subaru and especially Lisa Courchaine! More

Where there were a couple of small glitches, they not only made it right, they went the extra mile with an additional service comp. I mean a window wasn't cleaned thoroughly and they cleaned it again, and a broken chip has to be reordered, life happens. They are great to deal with from the sales folks right out into Service. They are the best. I've dealt with other car sales people who treated me like a little girl without any common sense. Needless to say, I don't go back to them, but I'll go back to Longs and Lisa Courchaine any day! More
The best way to buy a car Walking into the dealership, we gave the name of the sales representative we wanted to speak with (my son had purchased here from Matt). The man who greeted us went to find Matt, and took us to the lounge to wait (very nice lounge in the service department- I will be able to use their open wi-fi to work while getting service there-- but if it's a long service, they give you a loaner vehicle so you're not trapped there!). Matt, our sales agent, asked questions, listened to what I wanted and helped narrow down my choices. He brought up examples of the cars for me to look over. He was open about pricing, never once inquiring if we were trading until we had made the decision to buy and he had already told us the price we would pay for the purchase of the new car.. The finance manager, Ray, was very detailed in his rationales for what would be worth our extra money (and what wouldn't) instead of just selling us all the bells and whistles. He asked what kind of driving I do, and figured out the potential mileage so he could answer our questions with the best personalized answers for an informed decision that was best for us. We've been to other dealerships, where the sales people try to undercut each other, and even talk disparagingly about other dealerships (that sell the same cars!). One of the last dealers we went to wouldn't even give us a "ball park" price for the vehicles we were interested in until we brought in our trade-- I mean excuse me, but what does my car have to do with the price of your car, unless some creative numbers come into play? Long Subaru was honest, no pressure and pleasant to deal with. You really feel like part of a family when you go there. If you're planning on a Subaru, it is well worth your time to investigate Long, and interact with the professional and pleasant sales team they have there. More
