I took my vehicle here March 2 here for Service. The new battery in my 2018 F150 continually drains. My vehicle was returned to me March 7 I was told by Service I was not driving the vehicle enoug The new battery in my 2018 F150 continually drains. My vehicle was returned to me March 7 I was told by Service I was not driving the vehicle enough I need to drive it at least 1 hour a day. I purchased this vehicle in 2020 and have rarely driven this vehicle for 1 hour a day, except when I am traveling nor did I have an issue with the battery draining. I continued my routine of driving the vehicle the 20 miles to town 2 – 3 days a week. April 5 the battery was completely drained, again. I contacted Service, I was advised to have the battery “jumped” and to bring it back. Boosting the battery resulted in the vehicle starting then turn off. I contacted Service to let them know what was happening, they advised I contact Ford Roadside Assistance to have the vehicle towed to them. I was left without a vehicle again. No issue was found the vehicle was returned to me April 11 at approximately 5:30 p.m. April 12 at 7:00 a.m. I received notification via the Ford Pass app the Remote Features Disabled to Preserve Battery. I immediately attempted to start the vehicle, the battery was drained, again. I contacted Service, I was told to have the battery boosted, bring it back. My intention was to continue to Montgomery, Alabama to the Stivers Ford Dealer. I drove for approximately 1 mile warnings appeared on the instrument panel, Charge System Fault have system checked immediately, Antilock Brake Fault, Hill Start Assist Warning, Low Voltage, I did not feel I had a choice but to go back to this dealership. When I arrived I did not turn the vehicle off I went directly to Service to advise them of what was happening, a technician was sent to the vehicle to troubleshoot. I inquired as to what the Technician had found, I was told nothing was determined as of yet. I felt I did not have the option but to rent a vehicle, I had no groceries nor did I have a way to get them. On April 17 I had heard nothing regarding my vehicle. At approximately 1:45 p.m. I called for an update, I was told nothing had been found, I would receive a call between 3 and 4 p.m. with an update. At 4:15 I had not received a call. I decided to return the rental, I am retired on a fixed income renting a vehicle was not in my budget. I spoke to Service I was told the Shop Forman was now involved the next step would be to contact Ford Technical for assistance. I do have the Ford Extended Service Plan, I was told by the Tech the plan would not provide a rental car until there was a diagnosis on my vehicle, I paid $327 for the rental. April 19 I called the Ford Extended Service Plan spoke to John. Explained the situation of being stranded 600 miles from home, John stated there is an Emergency portion to the Service Plan the dealership should have notified them of the situation. I also went through the time line of the issue John stated the dealership should have called the Prior Approval Dept. for Technical Assistance, at this time there was no record of contact for my vehicle. I inquired if the dealership is aware of this, the reply was they are. I was provided the phone number and the options the dealership should use: 800-321-7790 Opt 1 then Opt 5. As of today, April 20 I have not received an update for my vehicle, at no time during this incident have I received an update. My advice is if you have warning lights on your dash which requires taking it to a Ford Dealership make sure you have the Ford Pass app on your phone. You can check to see when the light deactivates, in my case April 13 Remote Features Disabled to Preserve Battery, the battery remained drained until after I called April 17. On the plus side I have been taken back to my camper each time. More

He explained every feature of my new Explorer, made sure that I knew how to sync my phone to the vehicle and also every safety feature. I can not say enough good things about my buyers experience at Long Lewis. I am definitely sold on this dealership. I can not wait until my vehicles first service to see if their service department is as top notch as their sales department. More
We recently purchased a 2021 Ford 250 Transit Van from another dealership. After a less than a month, the check engine light came on. We tried taking the van to a dealership in Montgomery to have it chec another dealership. After a less than a month, the check engine light came on. We tried taking the van to a dealership in Montgomery to have it checked out, but their service was non-existent, so we drove it up to Long Lewis in Prattville. Within a very short time, the problem was diagnosed. Amanda Danford, Service Advisor was incredibly helpful. We cannot say enough about the outstanding service, attention to detail, fair pricing and respect we received. In the future, we will only use this dealership for service and when it comes time for our next vehicle purchase, it will be from Long Lewis. Thank you Amanda!! More

Outstanding service. I was traveling thru Montgomery in my Rv. I began having engine difficulty and was sent to Long Lewis Ford by a local RV dealer. I contacted the truc I was traveling thru Montgomery in my Rv. I began having engine difficulty and was sent to Long Lewis Ford by a local RV dealer. I contacted the truck service department and spoke with Amanda Danford. She told me to come to the dealership and she would look at what I needed. What a wonderful professional she was. As I had family in the area and it was late in the day she asked if she could call me with an answer to my problem the next day. She called me before noon the next day with the solution. It took some time to get parts, but the engine was fixed. If I need a vehicle in the future I will go to Long Lewis even if it is 80 miles from my home. Thank you Amanda and all your staff. More
