When I was shopping for a Lincoln Navigator I had no clue that Long-Lewis Ford of Hoover had a facility as wonderful as they do. I was immediately greeted by RJ Reynolds. He is not your typical car salesma that Long-Lewis Ford of Hoover had a facility as wonderful as they do. I was immediately greeted by RJ Reynolds. He is not your typical car salesman. He went above and beyond to answer all of our questions, show us features on the vehicle and did NOT high pressure sell us. The entire staff that we dealt with were very professional and made sure we were comfortable. I will definitely highly recommend Long-Lewis Ford of Hoover to anyone looking for a vehicle new or used. We have also been contacted by the salesman, sales manager and a couple of others from the dealership to make sure we were enjoying our new purchase. More

We were on our way from Georgia to Texas when we had a major leak in one of the heater hoses developed a leak. The service department was able to work us in and get the replacement hoses sooner than estim major leak in one of the heater hoses developed a leak. We took the car in on Tuesday, the hoses came in Wednesday, and we where back on the road about 1130 Thursday morning. We are very pleased with the service we received. More

I have wanted an Explorer my whole adult life, finally due to a bit of good fortune, my husband bought me one, albeit, it is used but I love it! He also bought 3 yr warranty. Well, it has been at Long L due to a bit of good fortune, my husband bought me one, albeit, it is used but I love it! He also bought 3 yr warranty. Well, it has been at Long Lewis Ford Service Dept. for 6 weeks now and still isn't repaired. Water Pump needs replaced. After 4 weeks of not hearing anything, Barry said they had to get approval due to it being Warranty work. I know they are short handed due to everything that has been going on but this is still ridiculously long. Very disappointed that I still don't have our vehicle back. Probably will be our last Ford, that's a shame because my mother retired a long time ago, after over 24 years at FMCC and purchased all of her cars from Long Lewis in Bessemer. More

I dropped my Transit Connect off yesterday at the service department, at my "appointment time". However I was told it was just a drop off time. I had a recall that needed to be fixed and the speedometer had department, at my "appointment time". However I was told it was just a drop off time. I had a recall that needed to be fixed and the speedometer had quit working. I was told they would get the recall fixed and try to look at the speedometer. The service tech, Bruce, told me he would send me a text to let me know the status. I do not live in Birmingham so I had made arrangements to stay with someone until it was fixed. At 3:30 I finally called since I had received no text. I was told that the recall had been fixed but there were 3 cars in front of me before they could look at the speedometer. Since it would not be completed I now had to make arrangements to return home. Fortunately long-Lewis has a rental service, because Enterprise had none to rent. Before I left Bruce told me he would do his best to get it looked at on Wednesday since there would be no technicians there on Thursday or Friday. When I called at 1:30 on Wednesday I was told that Bruce was not even there. So another service tech checked on my car and now there were 4, not 3, cars in front of mine. Needless to say I now have to drive up there so that I don't incur more days on the rental car. The sad thing is that long lewis just lost a sale, because we were looking at trading for a new car. Hopefully the service department will find a way to improve SERVICE. More
I have had major problems with this dealer over the years, especially since I purchased my 2019 Lincoln SUV. The last two trips in December 2021 have been different. They have done what they said in the time frame in which they committed on my Edge. The service manager Johnny was much better, except for not returning calls. The service advisor, Naomi, was outstanding in handling my visits and it was very much appreciated based on past contacts with other service advisors. I will definitely call her in the future. It appears Long-Lewis is getting their act together. I hope so and that is why I gave them a better rating than I ever have. Please keep up the good work. Millard M More
After my experience with Long-Lewis Ford I know, I don’t have to go anywhere else to find an honest dealership with a fair price; and as a 30-year Navy veteran I respect that! I have been buying trucks outside of my local area for years now as the local dealer’s continually price gouge, so it’s been worth the 300–500-mile drive for the savings. Earlier this year while looking for a truck online I was contacted by Daniel Willis my Long-Lewis sales rep, he informed me that the new 2022 F250 line was taking orders and starting production in a month. Daniel helped me through the ordering process and worked with management on getting me a great price well below MSRP! The entire process from order to receipt took about six months and Daniel was with me the entire ride, his communication and service throughout were outstanding! I just picked up my new loaded out F250, well worth the wait! And get this, on the day I arrived to pick up my new truck Daniel gave me an additional 500 dollars than quoted for my trade because of the great shape it was in; I just can’t say enough about the professionalism of the Long-Lewis Team. I’ve finally found a dealer I can trust and will most definitely be purchasing all my new Fords from Long-Lewis in the future! More
