Recently went to Long Hyundai to get regular service on my present Hyundai Palisade calligraphy and checked into the sales department to see about possibly upgrading to the latest. Chris Hanson was our sales person that we met and he proceeded to take care of our ever need. After looking at the numbers and checking out the car he had specially delivered for us to look at. We decided to move forward and purchase a new Palisade calligraphy. Chris was very knowledgeable on the model vehicles we were working with and took care of us completely. They financial office there was also excellent, and the closing went very smoothly and they answered all of her questions and explained the process completely. I have used Long Hyundai service department for my regular check ups for the past two years and have been very pleased with everyone associated with the service department. I would highly recommend any of my acquaintances or people just generally looking for a good dealership to contact Long Hyundai of Chattanooga. More

I had to get a new to me vehicle. My son went with me and we went to 3 dealerships before going to Long Hyundai. I was met by Cecil Toney. He didn’t do what the others had done. No ‘I can get you in a car’ or ‘You’d like this’ not listening to what I needed or could do. I’m a widow with one income. I have limitations on what I can afford. Cecil’s question was ‘What can you do and what are you looking for?’ Not only did he find what I needed but they got me a lower rate than I had been approved for before I got there. He got me in a 2017 Ford Escape within the miles I was looking for and price I could afford. So grateful for him! This was on Wednesday. Within a few days, Friday evening, I noticed a popping sound and took it to Mavis on Saturday for an inspection (they do it for free). He said the right front strut had cracked. I called Cedric. He said he’ll talk to the used car manager Ray and he’d call me back on Monday. On Monday when I got to work the check engine light came on. I took a picture and sent it to Cedric. He called and asked me to have the car at the service center by 4:30. I took the car up there. They got me a rental car through Enterprise and paid for it. When Mark the advisor from the service center called me on Wednesday or Thursday (I don’t remember) he said Keith the service manager said he wasn’t comfortable just changing the right strut. They replaced both front struts. The check engine light was from a hose that had disconnected. They called me Friday to come pick up my car. I bought this car ‘As Is’. They didn’t have to do anything for me. They ALL went above and beyond for me! I told them that God always takes care of me and I’m so grateful that I was sent to them. You cannot find any better people than these that I’ve named. Cedric said he’d take care of me and was true to his word. Cedric, Mark, Ray and Keith… thank you from the bottom of my heart. However, when we, after many attempts to find out about my canceled warranty. I went to the dealership only to be told I leave and I was no longer would get any help from the dealership. Because I told the guy I was tired and would go to court if I have too. The SO-CALLED manager, then threatened to physically harm me. He told me I just needed to meet him after his work hours. Then he would bet me up and kick my xxx. Unbelievable! What I can't get frustrated, make a comment without getting physical harmed? Or the business can refuse to return your money on a valid reason for making my request? So, this car dealership allows such horrible behavior for its management team? TRUE COLORS! THE only time this place has any concern for you is for the money they want to take from your pocket. With a kiss our butt or we won't help you any more attitude. The service department at Hyundai of Chattanooga has been the worst service experience I’ve dealt with. This is my second oil change there (I receive three complimentary services). The first time, I waite the worst service experience I’ve dealt with. This is my second oil change there (I receive three complimentary services). The first time, I waited literally all day with my son. The advisor told me everyone had called out due to the flu. While I understand things happen, that’s not the customer’s fault. I should have been informed when I first arrived so I could have rescheduled instead of sitting there for hours. This most recent visit wasn’t much better. I arrived at 7:20 a.m. for my 7:30 a.m. appointment. They recommended replacing filters—but then told me they didn’t even have them in stock and had to go to the warehouse to get them. After waiting, I asked how much longer and was told “20 minutes.” Then shortly after, the advisor asked if I could bring my car back another time. It’s frustrating to take time out of my schedule, show up early for an appointment, and still deal with poor communication and lack of preparation. I expect better organization and respect for customers’ time. More
