Theft Deterrent Sytem malfunctions My alarm system was malfunctioning. An internet search revealed that it was a known issue with Toyota Highlanders that requires repair or replacement My alarm system was malfunctioning. An internet search revealed that it was a known issue with Toyota Highlanders that requires repair or replacement of the hood latch. I took it to Lombard Toyota where I had made my most recent Toyota car purchase.I generally like them. This experience was not as good as others, mainly because of the price. I walked out paying $345. When they called me to give me the estimate I thought they said $145 which was in line with my expectations. I would have looked at alternatives if I knew it was going to be so much. More

Terrible... buy a Toyota anywhere else Unprofessional and unapologetic. Came from far to see a vehicle, to learn it was sold to another customer as we were working through paperwork. Despit Unprofessional and unapologetic. Came from far to see a vehicle, to learn it was sold to another customer as we were working through paperwork. Despite what manager Brandon Gabel told us, we were not warned of this situation. No apology from management, only told "you should have moved quicker." Management was very eager to argue and place blame rather than apologize or explain. As a long term Toyota buyer and owner, we would never return for any reason. Steer clear. Went on to buy a Toyota from another dealer with no hassle and a better price on the same day. More
