I live in Enfield and made the trip out to Winsted to Lombard Ford. A friend of mine purchases her vehicles there and recommended them. Steve was extremely friendly and helpful about assisting me to ge Lombard Ford. A friend of mine purchases her vehicles there and recommended them. Steve was extremely friendly and helpful about assisting me to get exactly what I wanted for a vehicle. I told him what I was basically looking for, what my previous vehicle was, and my situation as far as what I could afford. At no time did I feel pressured or rushed nor did he hit me with a sales pitch. I felt comfortable through the entire process from start to finish. Mike was also extremely friendly and helpful when it came to talking money, financing, and extended warranties. He took the time to explain every detail of the finance end of the purchase and spoke at length about about the extended warranties available. He also never made me feel like I was being pressured into anything. I am extremely satisfied with my experience at Lombard and will do my business there from now on. More

My Wife and I were looking for a certified car to put us toward retirement. Although Lombard Ford was out of our way from where we live, we made the decision to look at their 2011 Certified Taurus. It became ours. It was worthwhile. Not only for the car; but by the "Meet and Greet" of both Steve and Joe. I would not hesitate to recommend this dealer to anyone who is considering buying any vehicle they have for sale. More

My wife and I each purchased a Ford Focus at the same time, they offered a extended warrantee for the cars. When they said if at the end of the term if we did not use or make any claims against it we wou time, they offered a extended warrantee for the cars. When they said if at the end of the term if we did not use or make any claims against it we would get what we paid refunded. The cost was $1255.00 for each car. We had what we feel is good luck with the cars and after 4 years and 6 months I returned to Lombard Ford to see what we needed to do to get our money refunded. I spoke directly with Rob Lombard and he said we did not have the correct paperwork for that program and that I was lying and that we never had been offered such an option. Be very careful of their Sales People they will say anything to get more money out of you for options they offer. More

After searching the internet inventory listing of several dealers, my wife Cheryl and I visited Lombard Ford. We had purchased two used and one new vehicle from Lombard over the years. My son-in-law was havi dealers, my wife Cheryl and I visited Lombard Ford. We had purchased two used and one new vehicle from Lombard over the years. My son-in-law was having his Explorer serviced on the previous day, and mentioned to Corinne Markey that we were looking for a vehicle. She gave him her business card, which he handed to us when he returned to Terryville. The next day when we started to look at vehicles, a salesman asked if he could help. He informed us that Corinne was busy with a customer, but he would help us until she became free. We showed him the computer printout of vehicles that we were interested in. Once we "Zeroed in" on one, he showed us all of the features, answered questions, and arranged for us to take it for a test ride. Upon returning, Corinne was free, and he brought us into the showroom to meet her. I was impressed by the amount of attention that the salesman gave to us, as well as his great attitude, considering that Corrine would be credited with a sale if we purchased a vehicle. The dealership is well served by having him in their organization. We appreciated the fact that we were not spending time waiting around. Corinne Markey answered the questions that we had in friendly and informative manner. The process by which the final price of the vehicle, and the extended warranty was arrived at was handled in a pleasant atmosphere. She enabled us to drive away with the Mercury Milan Premier that afternoon, after meeting Dave, who had all of the paperwork ready. Corinne demonstrated the key features of the vehicle in a very thorough manner before we left the lot. We appreciate all that she accomplished in a short period of time. While it was nice to see the message welcoming my wife and I to the dealership, I was more impressed by the attitude and ability of the employees that we met that day. More

I can't say enough about Lombard Ford. I recently purchased my second Escape from Rob Lombard and his team. What a great feeling to know and trust these folks. As I was driving to meet Rob to discuss purchased my second Escape from Rob Lombard and his team. What a great feeling to know and trust these folks. As I was driving to meet Rob to discuss a new car purchase, I realized for the first time in my life I wasn't apprehensive nor was I dreading the experience. Rob makes you feel right at home, as if you might be visiting an old friend. I bought my first Escape from Rob a litte more than two years ago and after that experience, I promised I'd be back. After this last experience, I'm a committed life-long Lombard Ford customer. Thanks also to Mike, who patiently took me through the financing steps. Another great asset for Lombard Ford. Rob could teach many other dealers the value of caring and going the extra mile for the customer. The team at Lombard is like this before, during and after the sale. Our whole family took a long journey from Framingham, MA down to Winsted, CT to purchase a vehicle from Lombard Ford. Now you may ask don’t we have Ford dealerships in our state and don’t they sell the sam down to Winsted, CT to purchase a vehicle from Lombard Ford. Now you may ask don’t we have Ford dealerships in our state and don’t they sell the same Ford car products? Yes they do. However, the customer focus and attention level from the very first call we made to Lombard through the follow up on every detail and question truly differentiated this experience. Simply put it was well worth the ride. We can tell you that everybody at Lombard Ford we had the pleasure to meet and work with left a real impression on us. Our Sales Specialist, Corinne Markey was outstanding in every way. She carefully listened and she delivered on every level. Corinne spent so much time with my family to review the paperwork, the features of the vehicle and even taking the time to walk us through and to register us on My Ford.com. We purchased this Fusion Sport (Sport Blue) for our son and we could not be more pleased with Corinne and the Lombard team for all they did to make it a memorable and positive experience. From the initial greeting we received once through the door from Dave Bettigole the General Sales Manager who had our name on the marquee board welcoming us, to Rob Lombard the owner himself taking the time with us to tell us about how he acquired the vehicle, to Ed Obrien the Sales Manager who handed us cookies for the ride home and who shared insight about the car, to Mike Mannus the Finance Manager who prepared the paperwork and who had a runner go to the Springfield Registry, and SPECIAL RECOGNITION to CORINNE who worked with us to conclude a positive deal that both sides feel really good about; we thank each of you.
