Excellent customer care Came in for a 70k service and after talking with Antonio decided to do the 80k as well and add a transmission service as well. The. Be Careful! I’ve been taking my VW to Lokeyfor service - mostly oil changes and recalls. I started noticing a spot of oil under the front end of my car in my gara I’ve been taking my VW to Lokeyfor service - mostly oil changes and recalls. I started noticing a spot of oil under the front end of my car in my garage. Never a huge amount, but a few drops every time I moved it. I crawled under it to see if I could find the leak, but it seemed to be coming from the front end of the car and was all over the plastic cowling, etc. I couldn’t find the leak. I kept checking the oil and it was never low, so I didn’t worry too much about it. The next time I needed an oil change, I took it back to Lokey and told them about the leak. They changed the oil and came back with a long list of stuff that needed to be replaced. They said the leak was coming from around the water pump (??) And was mixing with water and that was why the oil was so black. Hmmm. I knew something was up - oil and water cr antes a white mixture, not a black one. Apparently, they figured I’m a dummy who won’t know anyway. The told me the total cost would be close to $2K to do the repairs!! Obviously, I decided to wait on the repair. I am glad I did. The oil leak stopped! It was apparently a small leak coming from the oil filter that they had not tightened sufficiently the last time they changed the oil. Dishonest repair guys - that’s the worst! Never again! More
