Mini Cooper or VW Beetle I had been looking at buying a Mini Cooper for a couple months. I really wanted a convertible for beach cruising. The day finally came where I was ab I had been looking at buying a Mini Cooper for a couple months. I really wanted a convertible for beach cruising. The day finally came where I was able to talk my husband into taking one for a test drive. We liked it ok but didn't like the price. Hubby thought is was way to small and he didn't like the way it handled at high speed. We decided to think about it. On the way home hubby asked what about a VW Beetle? I told him I hadn't even considered one? I knew I didn't want a muscle car like mustang or camero so I was open to considering a beetle. I said they look like fun and cute. We called a friend who sells used cars and he said the Beetle had a great safety rating and they held their value much better than the Cooper so on the way home we stopped a test drove one. I liked it! I liked the size of the back seat and how big it felt inside with the top up. Hubby liked the way it handled and $10,000 was very appealing to him so we drove one home that night. I enjoy driving it every time I can and hubby really likes it too. Says he is surprised how much fun it is to drive (he drives a Corvette Sting Ray so that says a lot!) More

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME I have purchased many cars in my lifetime and have had many experiences at car dealerships. Never have I been treated with such disrespect. Salesman Danny and Manager Joe were extremely rude and unprofessional. We drove 2 hours to purchase a truck that we saw online. Prior to driving, we called and asked if there would be any surprises regarding price, vehicle, etc. They were persistent that what we saw is what we get. Once we arrived the price of the vehicle was $4,500 more than the price listed online because "their system hadn't updated" though the pictures of the truck were the EXACT SAME as in person. The only thing that didn't update was the price somehow. Absolutely ridiculous service and they would not budge. We wasted our time with thinking this dealer would be professional and helpful in our car buying process. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time here. More
