**BUYERS BEWARE, Advertised prices are fake** My son bought a car from this dealership today at what seemed to be a fair price. We only wanted to purchase the car without any additional products or serv bought a car from this dealership today at what seemed to be a fair price. We only wanted to purchase the car without any additional products or services. We were told that to get the advertised price, we had to use their financing. Since we planned to pay off the car within the month, this was fine. The interest rate is high, but I understand this is how Blasius takes further profits from their customers by adding points to the loan. After we believed the sale price was final, the salesperson presented the monthly payment amount (six years with high interest). I then spoke with the finance person and found that an extended warranty had been added to the purchase agreement, which we had them remove. They also added $1,500 GAP insurance, despite knowing we were paying off the car in a month. They also added an $800 car theft recovery device. I had them remove this as well. They also added a $400 blinking device so that when we press the brake pedal, the center rear light flashes. They refused to remove that. In addition to these questionable business practices, they added another fee of almost $800 to process paperwork. Which is outrageous. The state says this fee is negotiable but this dealer would not. Altogether, they added approximately $5,000 to the purchase agreement. If I had not been there to protect my son, they would have taken full advantage of him. They are not a stand-up company. If they want to make things better refund my son the $400 for the useless brake light flashing device that we were forced to take. More
