Honestly, I don’t feel that you stand behind your warranty. I have documentation from another mechanic on an issue but you won’t look into it under warranty due to not being able to duplicate the iss warranty. I have documentation from another mechanic on an issue but you won’t look into it under warranty due to not being able to duplicate the issue. You want to charge me money instead of looking at a warrantied vehicle. I’ve also had issues with your spare parts department not standing behind the product they sold. In fact, my bank ended up siding with me and refunded my money, not you. I don’t feel that Lochmandy has a backbone. You constantly refer to the auto manufacture in situations instead of honoring the work that you do. I will be purchasing a vehicle later this year and will not be choosing Lochmandy. Once my repairs are also complete on my Jeep, I will move my repair work to Tyler Automotive. More
Waited two months for necessary parts to come in. Car was there on time in the morning for scheduled appointment. Had to wait half an hour for completion at the end of the day. Noticed the exterior t Car was there on time in the morning for scheduled appointment. Had to wait half an hour for completion at the end of the day. Noticed the exterior trim was popped loose around driver side wheel well. Took back to service and they said it wasn’t anything they did… service writer felt under vehicle and said no physical damage. Wrong! They must have bent rocker panel trim securement bracket when placing on the lift. Inside wheel well panel was buckled and trim securement fasteners were broken. We bent the bracket back straight with a crowbar and bought new fasteners on Amazon. Fixed their damage at our expense and time. Won’t be back. More

Poor customer service and communication. Service Manager is more concerned with getting burned on warranty claims with the manufacturers than servicing customers and repairing vehicles. We p Service Manager is more concerned with getting burned on warranty claims with the manufacturers than servicing customers and repairing vehicles. We purchased a brand new GMC Sierra 2500 from this dealership 2 years ago. It had 45,000 miles and has been in the shop for work at least 6 times. More
I've been a long-time service customer at Lochmandy, but this last experience will likely have me look elsewhere for on-going service needs with my vehicles. We came in for a standard oil change which was this last experience will likely have me look elsewhere for on-going service needs with my vehicles. We came in for a standard oil change which was completed in the morning. By the afternoon, the car had several issues that resulted in over-heating and required to bring back into the dealership. If these were existing issues they should have been identified during the inspection during the oil change and/or were a result from the oil change. We were not given a detailed explanation of the issue besides we needed to pay $700 to fix it. More
I've been a loyal customer for all of my vehicles needs since I purchased it brand new back in 2020 from your dealership. Every oil change, battery, repairs, etc all go through Lochmandy. There's been a fe since I purchased it brand new back in 2020 from your dealership. Every oil change, battery, repairs, etc all go through Lochmandy. There's been a few hiccups in the past with service and my vehicle, but nothing major. However, when my car was in for service a few weeks ago there was money stolen from the consul. I called and let the service department know and they said they would look at the cameras and let me know. It's been crickets since then. I did plan on purchasing a new Wrangler at some point this year but I'm not sure I want to keep my business with Lochmandy if they don't feel the need to contact me and let me know what's going on. I realize the entire service department isn't to blame because they didn't steal from me, but someone did. If I can't trust employees there to stay out of the personal storage areas in my vehicle then why would I continue to take my business there? I was told that they were most likely looking for my locking lugnut key. OK, thats fair. But I've kept in with my spare tire for four years. Also, even if they did look in the consul to find the key, that doesn't give them permission to take whatever is in there! Please know, money isn't everything, and I am not upset that I didn't get my $250 back. Keep it. Someone clearly needed it more than me. I'm upset because I've spent thousands of dollars with your company and was basically just brushed off. More
