Lochmandy Motor Sales is proud to be a part of the Michiana community since 1954. We began with the founding of Lochmandy Buick, by Michael Lochmandy, in 1954. A second dealership, Lochmandy Rambler, was founded in 1957. Dennis Lochmandy became the Operating Manager of Lochmandy Rambler in 1964, which he then purchased in 1967. The Dodge brand was added to the Lochmandy Rambler franchise in 1968 and GMC truck in 1978. Lochmandy Motor Sales and Lochmandy Buick merged in 1993 in order to become one dealership that offers its customers the largest variety and selection of new and used vehicles in Michiana. Lochmandy Motor Sales’ current site was built in 1995 and is home of one of the largest new car dealerships in Elkhart county. Lochmandy Motor Sales has a staff of over 100 people and sells over 1500 vehicles a year. Lochmandy Motor Sales is founded on the principle of a “Tradition of Caring”. This is the philosophy of treating the customer as you would want to be treated.

After making several phone calls, Lochmandy was the only local service shop that was willing to attach and interpret the code on our motorhome. Fortunately, nothing was found to be a problem and they clear local service shop that was willing to attach and interpret the code on our motorhome. Fortunately, nothing was found to be a problem and they cleared the fault indicator, at no charge! Since we were already there, I asked if they could change the oil and filter on the motorhome. As it is too big they had me pull into an empty dirt lot where they actually wiggled underneath in the dirt to drain the oil for us! Above and beyond service! More

We dropped off our car and called by the end of the day to let us know what the issue was. The Service Dept. Tech Tony explained what he would be checking into and verifying if the parts were in house or n to let us know what the issue was. The Service Dept. By Monday afternoon, the vehicle was fixed and ready for pick up, The amount due matched what he said was the potential cost of the extended warranty covered this fix. Thank goodness it did! We had our vehicle back by Tuesday morning. More
