Lochmandy Motor Sales is proud to be a part of the Michiana community since 1954. We began with the founding of Lochmandy Buick, by Michael Lochmandy, in 1954. A second dealership, Lochmandy Rambler, was founded in 1957. Dennis Lochmandy became the Operating Manager of Lochmandy Rambler in 1964, which he then purchased in 1967. The Dodge brand was added to the Lochmandy Rambler franchise in 1968 and GMC truck in 1978. Lochmandy Motor Sales and Lochmandy Buick merged in 1993 in order to become one dealership that offers its customers the largest variety and selection of new and used vehicles in Michiana. Lochmandy Motor Sales’ current site was built in 1995 and is home of one of the largest new car dealerships in Elkhart county. Lochmandy Motor Sales has a staff of over 100 people and sells over 1500 vehicles a year. Lochmandy Motor Sales is founded on the principle of a “Tradition of Caring”. This is the philosophy of treating the customer as you would want to be treated.

They have a great service department. We had a problem with our new 2021 GMC truck the day before we we’re leaving for a trip. We drove into there shop without an appointment they gave us a loner car and with our new 2021 GMC truck the day before we we’re leaving for a trip. im giving a good score because the salesman was really friendly and helpfull. He was a big help to order my new truck. Lochmandy Motors service department was AMAZING! Our 2 year old Ram Promaster camper van suddenly lost power on I-90 on a Friday afternoon 2,000 miles into our 6,000 mile cross-country road trip. Because year old Ram Promaster camper van suddenly lost power on I-90 on a Friday afternoon 2,000 miles into our 6,000 mile cross-country road trip. Because the camper van is self contained, they kindly let us stay on the dealership property over the weekend until they could arrange for a loaner car. Because they were so busy, a mechanic wasn’t able to diagnose the problem until Tuesday, but a replacement PCM was quickly ordered (all parts and service under warranty) and we were back on the road Thursday afternoon. The service manager Norm was kind and helpful, Nicole was extremely efficient, and Beth went above and beyond in her words and actions, helping us feel welcome and safe as we navigated through the towing process and arranged to stay on-site over the weekend. Thanks again to a wonderful service team! More
