Troy Johnson, the salesman, was helpful throughout the sales process and answered all my questions in a timely manner prior to coming in. I looked at several other SQ5's in my area and this one was the absolute cleanest I viewed. It was a tough decision nevertheless, but my preferred SQ5 at Stevens Creek Audi was sold the same morning while I was in Livermore. I decided to buy. -Salesman was good. He was kind enough to deliver my car 20 miles out. -Sales manager - Average. Attitude was, take it or over leave it. No efforts were made to make sure I was satisfied with purchase. -Finance manager could use some milk. Yousef, the sales manager, was a bit sour during the signing process and looked visibly upset when I called out their "VIN Etching" added onto the price for 349.99. I told him that I did not want this, but according to him, it was "baked" into the price. Dumb, in my opinion. All the "VIN Etching" stickers peeled off EASILY and are an absolute waste of MONEY. Complete dealer BS so they can make more money. I was only given one key and I asked if I could possible have them give me a new one. They said no. Again, no effort to make sure I was satisfied. Would I come back as a customer? Nah. Would I recommend this dealer? Nope. Could the overall experience been better? Absolutely. More

Buying a car should be a great experience. It’s what everyone spends the most money on aside from mortgage/rent, and Livermore Ford used car sales was a great experience! Worst service ever. Went in to look at the e size of the XLT explorer. They told us that they found a car with our exact requirements but it was at another dealership. We spent 5 HOURS going through the con XLT explorer. They told us that they found a car with our exact requirements but it was at another dealership. We spent 5 HOURS going through the contract while they collected the car. When the car arrived, they had picked up the wrong one and hoped we would just accept the mistake. No apologies, rude staff and lied about advising there were no other cars around that met our criteria. Put me off buying from ford in the future. More
They did everything they said they would do. Very pleasurable experience. The new car market is very tough today with limited inventory but they made it very easy. At the t The worst. April 2018 -Leased a new Lincoln vehicle. For three years ALL of my lease payments were on time until my lease expired in 2021. At the time my mom was dying and I missed the end of the lease because I was staying at her house during her hospice. After she passed away I learned that the lease had been "charged out" the Ford National Recovery Center, which was reasonable given the expiry lease and no contact from me. Nov. 1, 2021 -FRNC shared I could go to a Ford Dealership and buy out the lease. That day I called and spoke with the Livermore Ford GM Steve S, explained the situation and made an appointment at 1:00 PM, specifically to work through buying out the lease. -After five hours at Livermore Ford working with Steve S., GM, Ahmed J. sales, and Yosuif B, finance completing the buy out. Including paying $20K w a check and financing $10K. -Steve S. himself spoke with Ford and the FNRC re how to complete the sale, where to sound the documents and payment since this was a charged out lease. -When I left the dealership on the evening of 11/1, I specifically asked if there was anything outstanding that I needed to do, and the answer was no. Nov 6, 2021 -Yosuif B. informed me that on the previous day, Nov 5, the $10K loan had been funded. Nov 20, 2021 -At 4:20 am in the morning two strangers are outside my house repossessing my car. I was not able to remove personal items. -I am a single mom with two children, and all of us were terrified re what was happening -As per the repo company, the car (that I paid for on Nov 1) with my personal items would be cleaned out in 48 hours. Nov. 21, 2021 -After multiple calls Ford shared that Livermore Ford / Steve S. sent my $30K payment to Ford, not to FNRC so Ford refused the check and it was sent to a lock box. Even though both are part of Ford, there are different payment addresses. As per the repo company, since FNRC didn’t receive the check, it looked like the car was stolen or “missing”, hence the repo. Because the payment was sent to the wrong address. -I sent a detailed email to the new GM, Matt Z., Trina B., and Yosuif B, to try to get a resolution, and get my car back. Nov. 23, 2021 (the day I am writing this review) -I currently have no car (day 4) which is hard for the week of Thanksgiving, I am out $20K in cash and $10K in a active loan - which I am making payments on... and it was reported to credit bureaus that I didn’t resolve this as I did on Nov. 1, and had a missing car.. I have been paying for Ubers these past four days. Today I requested a loaner, which I still do not have. There seems to be no urgency on the part of Livermore Ford to resolve this even though they have my $30+K. On a side note, my father died on Nov. 15, two days before the car was repossessed. We didn’t really need this cruel complication. When I consider that I paid every single three year lease payment on time and only missed the end of the lease and two months because my mother was dying, to doing everything that I was asked to do to resolve the buy out on 11/1, I am incredulous that this is how Ford and Livermore Ford treats customers?? Not to mention the high level of stress a late-night repo put on me, the kids, and my neighbors two days after my dad died. While I rarely provide feedback, this ongoing experience with Livermore Ford and those mentioned above, is too egregious to remain silent. More
