Appreciate the response - although the time to rectify it was then, not now. I've had to find another shop to perform the work. I asked for an estimate for a specific service - water pump replacement. I was given the estimate of approx. $900. I made the appointment based on that estimate. Once the car was dropped off - I received the call stating that original estimate only had 1 hour labor, and the new price is $1800. I declined that price and was offered a 15% discount which I declined, then was charged $170 for the diagnosis of it needs a water pump replacement.
