Needed head-lights adjusted. $90.00 and 2-hours later. While on a road-trip across the USA, driving at night the headlights on my 2012 VW Golf were out of adjustment. I was not familiar with how to adjust While on a road-trip across the USA, driving at night the headlights on my 2012 VW Golf were out of adjustment. I was not familiar with how to adjust the headlights. I pulled into Lithia VW to request assistance. $90.00 and 2-hours later I was back on the road. That night while driving, the headlights were so over adjusted they shined up into the sky and trees. Rather than show me how to adjust my headlights, which I since learned is an easy 5-minute fix with the right tool (Allen-tool/6mm hex bit) - the Lithia Service department took 2-hours and charged me $90.00. Talk about highway robbery! Clearly the service department of this dealership is out of sync with customers and customer need. More

During that time, they never offered us a loaner vehicle to drive while our car sat on their lot waiting to be repaired. When the turbocharger went out for the second time, we were preparing to go out of town for Thanksgiving. I asked about a loaner vehicle and they told me that it was their policy not to offer loaner vehicle until our car was inspected by their mechanic. Our car sat on the lot for a week and we missed our vacation. I will drive out of state to find a better dealership who will, in fact, take care of their customer after the sale. More
