Lacking good quality of service! Yesterday, I had oil changed and tires rotated in our 2016 VW following our recent drive to Colorado. I called to inquire about needing an appointment Yesterday, I had oil changed and tires rotated in our 2016 VW following our recent drive to Colorado. I called to inquire about needing an appointment for the service and was instructed to bring the car into the express service, no appointment required. After waiting 2 hours, my car was returned as follows: - No wash job following the service. (wash staff had left for the day!) -tire inspection indicated that "New tires were needed" with only 2/32" of tire tread remaining, in spite of the car having 17,500 total miles. -a flat tire was discovered this morning when I went to leave our garage, due to the valve stem cap being installed incorrectly following the service yesterday. Matt, the manager had me return the car for washing, correction of the tire problem, and reassessment of the tire tread wear. ( measurement corrected to 8/32 " on the back; 5/32" on the front tires) Another hour was required to complete the repeat service. Service quality was discussed with the manager and how poor service quality impacts future car sales. Hopefully, the staff will appreciate this post and how ALL employees can impact a "happy customer experience." More
