My wife and I went to Des Moines to do some quick clothes shopping. Our car was getting old and had 132,000 miles. Since we were in the area, we decided to make what we thought would be a quick stop at the VW dealership to just check them out quickly. Within a minute of stepping foot in the door we were greeted by Sam D. who asked us what we were interested in, We told him we were there to look and had no intentions to purchase that day. When I've said that to other sales persons they usually lose interest and tell me to find them if I need anything. We told Sam what we were after and he took us and showed us the different options. He took the time to explain what the new features were and how they worked and sent us on a test drive. When we got back he showed us the R Line instead of the base model and helped us find one that we loved. At no time was Sam pressuring to make a sale, nor did he show any hint of leaving us alone solely because we had no intent to purchase a car that day. We ended up finding a car that my wife fell in love with and decided to make a purchase. We worked with Sam and Dwayne in the finance department for a smooth car buying experience. I have never purchased a new car before in my life and this was one of the best experiences I've ever had shopping for and purchasing a car. We will definitely be customers of VW of Des Moines for life after the way we were treated. More

Was a easy purchase. I came in from out of town to get the car I wanted. Communication was great - salesperson was quick to respond. The finance girl went over some helpful information and took the time to explain the options and license and titling process. My sales person followed up a couple days later to make sure all was good. Then I got a call from the license and title letting me know she was sending me documents. I liked that they kept me involved during the process and I felt I was important to them even tho it wasn’t a big ticket sale. The General manager even introduced himself and thanked me for my business. So far very happy customer- I would recommend this dealership More

I felt that Faris did a good job helping me buy my car rather then just trying to sell me one. It was very low pressure interaction he was very straight forward and upfront which I appreciated.
