Sales Associate AJ really cared about getting me in the right car. I came in and test drove a couple of cars that weren’t really up to par with what I was looking for and left the lot without a new car. AJ right car. AJ had taken me on these test drives and told me he’d keep an eye out for the requirements I’d listed for my ideal ride. A couple of weeks later, he reached out to me when my dream car showed up on his lot. He made sure I got the price we’d talked about and that my trade in was above what I owed. I’m very happy with this customer experience and truly feel like AJ cared about my happiness and satisfaction in getting me into my new car. 10/10 recommend! More
I bought a used 2014 Ford Escape, so I was likely not seen as a big $ customer. I don't think anyone cared much whether or not I came back. Given that: Here is why their mission was accomplished, and I won't: 1 - High pressure sales that made the whole process very uncomfortable. I should have walked out, but I didn't. Not walking out was a mistake, and I regret it. 2 - Dishonesty. When time to negotiate, my sales person, Alex, brought me bizarrely high monthly payments twice before I realized that he had tacked $2,000 onto the list price and tried to hide it. After asking enough questions, I realized he had tacked on $2k for a protective coating that I didn't ask for. I was told it was automatically added to every car on the lot. If that is so, then the list price should reflect that not just magically increase by 2K when it's time to work out payment. 3 - The day after I took the car home, I noticed it had (still has it) a very loud whine when I drive in reverse. I had not driven the car in reverse when I test drove at the dealership. (I also own that mistake.) I called Alex and told him there was problem. He said he'd get right on it with the service department and call me back. He didn't call me back. 4 - I called at least 4 times, and every time, Alex said he'd call me right back. He never did. This went on for about 2 weeks. 5 -- I also emailed the dealership manager, Ron, to ask questions about my experience with Alex. I wanted to know if the added $2K was always hidden or if this was something that wasn't supposed to have happened. He never responded. I emailed again. He didn't respond to that, either. 6 - I called the dealership again about the continuing whine when I reverse. But I skipped Alex this time. First I talked to someone at the front desk. She sent me to the service department. Then I called the service department directly. Left a message. Still... no one would call me back. I've given up on anyone from Lithia trying to solve the reverse whine issue. Nobody cares. My conclusion is that Lithia takes care of you if they view you as someone who will make them more $$$. If you don't have a lot of money to spend on nice new cars, they don't care if they ever see you again and will treat you as such. That's how I felt about it, anyway. Either way: no integrity. My experience with Lithia is exactly why the car-buying process is notoriously unpleasant. More

Glad you asked because it was a pleasant experience from the minute I dropped off my car until I picked it up. The individuals in service were very helpful and professional, as well as friendly. I used the shuttle service and the young man was a safe driver and personable. My was car was in and out in a couple of hours with no problems Thank you! More
