This is my recent (8/22/2022) purchase at Lithia VW at Johnston , a VW ID4, i was working With the sales person Christian Woodard who knowingly didn’t disclose the fact that ID4 doesn’t qualify for a tax Johnston , a VW ID4, i was working With the sales person Christian Woodard who knowingly didn’t disclose the fact that ID4 doesn’t qualify for a tax credit after the new law has been passed on 8/16/2022. Though we asked 3 times about anything we should know about the tax credit and any restrictions or changes they are aware of. On top of that , I had to pay over MSRP. The next day morning when my wife saw a news and checking the IRS website, she realized that VW ID4 is not eligible for any tax credit after 8/16/2022, then we showed up and asked the same thing and the manager clearly expanded that it was been informed to all the salespeople about the tax credit change and still he didn’t accept the fact that his own sales person didn’t disclose this information to us, and I repeat, we specifically asked about the tax credit as that is our biggest motivation for buying an EV. I am very very unhappy with the way VW Lithia is been cheating and trying to hide things from customers to just achieve their sales goals. I have been cheated by this group of people and I will not recommend them for anyone for their purchases with Lithia VW More
