Poor Customer Service The customer service and experience at Lithia Volkswagen unfortunately did not meet expectations. This was the most stressful car-shopping experience The customer service and experience at Lithia Volkswagen unfortunately did not meet expectations. This was the most stressful car-shopping experience during a period when I’m also dealing with an unexpected totaled car/insurance claim. I felt that I was playing a game of “bait and switch” financing with Mitchell and Caleb – I was very mislead and the financing was unclear. I was requested by the General Manager that the term "bait and switch" be edited to indicate that no illegal acts were taken. Nothing illegal occurred, just an unsatisfactory experience with very poor customer service; I was told one thing during negotiations and when it came to sign paperwork, the deal changed. This was not a pleasant car shopping experience. I received far superior customer service, including a better deal and financing rate, from Baxter Volkswagen in Omaha. They included free delivery to my home, 1/2 off on remote start, and free oil changes for a year – options that Caleb initially did not even want to include for all of the hassle and frustration. I would recommend looking at Baxter’s customer service as an example for your own team. I have no intention of ever doing business with Lithia again in the future. More

disapointing The air-conditioner wasn't working before we bought the car. They fixed it, but when we got home there was a brake light that was out, and the bulbs The air-conditioner wasn't working before we bought the car. They fixed it, but when we got home there was a brake light that was out, and the bulbs for the license plate lights where both out. The next day the remote start would not work. Found out a vent hose for the fuel system was bad. If the computer was reset the starter would work twice and then quit again. The computer was reset before we picked it up. We bought the car six weeks ago and still have not got a title. No one has ever called to see how we are getting along with the car. The inside of the car was not cleaned very well. Some other things have gone wrong but can't blame them on the dealer. More
