We also really liked working with Quincy and Andrew since they were both very knowledgeable but the rest of the experience was disappointing. Everything seemed to take way longer than it should have to get answers on (compared to the other dealerships we were dealing with). We often found ourselves sitting at the desk for the approval to come for the price we wanted, waiting to test drive (all them seemed to have no gas so I had to put $10 in myself), waiting in line for our paperwork to be prepared, and waiting for the vehicle we did purchase to be cleaned since it wasn't ready when we got there. We also felt a little deceived in that we verbally agreed to $10,000 trade in for our vehicle then see that $9,500 was actually put on the final sheet we signed (we missed it since we assumed our verbal agreement was on there). Caleb was fast and efficient on the final paperwork which was nice. I have asked around to other friends in the area and they said they had similar experiences with this dealership in the past. In summary, we love the vehicle we got but think that the dealership we dealt with could be better managed to make it a better buying experience. Thanks, Tim & Abby Conrad More

I would make arrangements for them to be picked up. After an hour, we found out they did not have the tire I needed in stock (reason for visit). (I thought this was maybe something they could check into when I called the previous week?) They did graciously take two tires from another VW in the lot, which was much appreciated! And gave me a great deal.... which is almost a fair exchange for my wait! ;) The visit here lasted THREE hours and 25 minutes! If you have kids, you know how straining this was. At check-out, I found out VW could have transported us/ me home! (I would have left kids and come home!) and was also informed they have snacks there. Needless to say, we were all ravenous, tired, grouchy, and had wasted our entire afternoon. Next time, I look forward to getting a ride home and spending the pm outdoors with three kids under the age of 5! We also found out they didn't have time to check my dashboard lights, so I need to schedule another appointment.... not excited about this, but will have them bring me home for the wait! More

They don't honor service appointments, they are impossible to reach by phone, they screwed up the finance paperwork twice on my latest purchase, they screwed up the title transfer paperwork on my trade causing me to have to help them sign and transfer the title to the new owner when they sold it. They screwed up the payoff on the trade and didn't honor what I was told by the sales staff. Avoid Lithia of Des Moines. It's too bad they are so bad to work with, I really like my VW cars. More

We drive in from an hour away and arrived an hour before they closed. They stayed late to help us out! More
