Most of my experience was perfect with Lithia Toyota, my 3 stars is based on my buying and trade experience. I had a 2021 4Runner TRD Off Road Premium with 29,960 miles for trade in towards a new RAV4. I th 3 stars is based on my buying and trade experience. I had a 2021 4Runner TRD Off Road Premium with 29,960 miles for trade in towards a new RAV4. I think their first offer for trade in value was $32,000 or 33,000. Which made me very sad as on their website I was quoted $41,500 to $45,000 and that was trade in range! But then they say there was no way they would get that much for it, and that they would not be able to offer me that price (I wanted $40,000) that they don’t use the system that is on their website?. After a few offers, they said they would do me a favor since my husband is also a customer who bought his CHR there, the absolute highest they could go was $36,500. Deal done. I sadly accepted the offer. Later when my loan goes through and I get my statement I see that it’s more than I expected. I start looking through my paperwork and see that somehow the 36,500 didn’t make it on the contract and it was showing 34,500! How can that be?! So I text Rodney Kallum my sales person and tell him and he looks into it and says that’s what the contract shows and you signed the contract. I said yes, but it’s not correct, he said you signed it. I said don’t you remember offering me 36,500 since my husband was a customer blah blah blah and he says I don’t remember that conversation! Wow! I understand I signed the contract with the incorrect price, and that is my fault for not looking to make sure it was correct (I didn’t think that they would change the price and cheat me out of $2,000). But Instead of being honest and saying I do remember that but nothing can be done since the contract is signed he just straight lied. Then I look at the paperwork where they calculate my trade value, and they had almost doubled my miles to get the amount lowered! I had 29,960 miles, and they entered that my 4Runner had 49,752 miles on the car fox report! What the heck! Talk about shady! I understand it’s my fault of signing the contract without reading and making sure the numbers were correct was my fault, but it doesn’t make it right what they did! I have never dealt with a shady salesman from Toyota before and did not think they would cheat me out of all that money on my trade! They made almost 15,000 off my 4Runner and lied about its worth based on fudging the miles to make it less! They sold it for $48,995 on their website, probably more after all the fees and extras! So if you go here, make sure to look at ALL the paperwork and make sure the correct info is being entered when they calculate your trade! Now, instead of enjoying my new RAV4, every time I see it, it reminds me of how much i was cheated out of, and how dishonest they were! I hate my new car. More
