My day started with a phone call to Tracy informing her I wanted to start looking at vehicles for a future purchase. Tracy introduced me to Ray who made my experience purchasing my truck beyond amazing. I im wanted to start looking at vehicles for a future purchase. I immediately felt extremely comfortable with Ray in his knowledge, experience and guidance through the entire process of purchasing my vehicle. I live in Chico but am so thankful I made the trip to Redding. Tracy was amazing guiding me through the process of financing and her knowledge and expertise were appreciated. Tracy set up a future appointment for me which was so convenient. After completing all the paperwork Tracy walked me back to meet with Ray who had the truck waiting for me. Ray took the extra time to go over features in the truck, selected radio stations, connected my phone and even suggested a picture which he took. This company is blessed to have these two amazing employees working for them. I can not say enough great things about my experience. Ray’s sense of humor had my friend and I laughing through the entire process! I left Lithia with new friends and a beautiful truck. If you are looking for a vehicle, go to Lithia and ask for Ray! Bait and Switch I initially started this via the Costco Auto program, yet I was told one price via email then go in to find out that one; the car was already sold, an I initially started this via the Costco Auto program, yet I was told one price via email then go in to find out that one; the car was already sold, and two; the price was way off from what was emailed. After negotiations, which I felt was the worst experience I’ve had with a car purchase, they still had me over $1,000 above what was told to me originally. They then stated that they would have the car transferred from another dealership. Car arrives, so I showed up with the expectation to pick up the vehicle, however..... Different interior color then what was ever discussed. The salesman then said "Want some seat covers?" No! I want the interior color I chose not whatever you got, obviously not making sure of any of this was correct before transporting the vehicle. Then they asked, "would $500 off make you take it?" No! Again, I want what was originally agreed upon. Then was told they would call me the next day with a confirmation if they were able to “secure” the correct vehicle with the correct interior color from another dealership. Then another day goes and the car with the correct interior arrives, at 6:15pm. I arrive with a text from the salesman, "do you work all day tomorrow?" like I should just come back tomorrow. Then I was told, "will have to try and squeeze you in as best we can," to do the paperwork since this is a new car, new paperwork. I mentioned the prior statement of taking an additional $500 off the correct car and was told no. Despite to say this was the worst experience with buying a car. I did finally get the car I originally wanted but I feel like after all this I ended up paying more then I really wanted and especially more then what I was told prior to even test driving the car. I do love the car, but getting it was just the most stressful and horrible experience I’ve ever had with a car purchase. More
