Best car buying experience of my life (and I have had many!) I usually dread going to car dealerships, for fear of the high pressure sales tactics designed to ensure the customer does not leave without purchasin I usually dread going to car dealerships, for fear of the high pressure sales tactics designed to ensure the customer does not leave without purchasing a vehicle. Nothing like that at all this time! I had gone to get a small item serviced, and having noticed Labor day ads, I was curious what might be had. Armed with an internet quote that I thought might be a useful benchmark, I was astounded to receive an offer at several thousand dollars LESS! Not only that, it was extremely straight forward, no upselling, misleading initial teasers, or anything of the sort. The salesman assigned to me was more than happy to show me several alternatives, allowed me to test drive more than one vehicle, and despite what must have been great pressures of multiple sales on a busy holiday sale week-end, he made me feel I was his only customer. When I thanked him and informed him I needed to discuss with my wife, there was no pressure to proceed with the deal immediately. It was a gentleman's card, handshake, cellphone, and a simple request.... "Let me know when you are coming back, so I am sure I will have time for you." Upon our return and an additional test drive of the particular vehicle, we completed the transaction in a pleasant, efficient manner. Thank you Mike, Logan, and Lithia, and of course Toyota for making great cars! More

She knew exactly what was needed after a very brief discussion. And she recognized I have some mobility limitations. She was very nice in helping me select a free donut and coffee, She held the door to the waiting room, helped me to a seat. When the car was ready, she brought the paperwork to me for review, then helped me out to the car. I was very impressed with her professionalism and concern. Five stars!! More

Elders treated very poorly Aug 29 at 4:40 PM The trouble started on Saturday, August 1,2015. I tried to start my Prius and it wouldn't start. My son also tried to start i Aug 29 at 4:40 PM The trouble started on Saturday, August 1,2015. I tried to start my Prius and it wouldn't start. My son also tried to start it and failed. Then I called AAA for a tow. The Tow Truck Driver tried to start the Prius and failed. We pushed the Prius out of the garage to have it towed The tow Truck Driver then started the Prius. I asked him what he did differently to make it start and he said he didn't know. I drove the Car to Lithia Toyota of Redding and tried to explain the problem. The Customer Service Representative did not process papers for technical assistance to assess the problem. Instead he told me, the customer, it was my fault because I stepped on the Parking Brake to start the car. He couldn't know that. It was diagnosis by conjecture and he turned out to be wrong. He went into a long diatribe about my being too old to drive. He made the "Friendly, Helpful Customer Service" an oxymoron. When have the Customer Service Reps become experts on Prius problems and customer driving capabilities, instead of remaining within their Job Description? When did they start stereotyping the elderly customer? More
