In 2004 I bought my new Rav4 from Kareem Duncan. Best experience I’ve had. Last Friday I returned and bought a 4Runner and have NEVER been treated so poorly. We walked in there, paying cash, and the Best experience I’ve had. Last Friday I returned and bought a 4Runner and have NEVER been treated so poorly. We walked in there, paying cash, and the sales manager, Danny, rushed us while paying, was rude, cut us off at every chance he got, and was all around a slimy guy. The guy who sold us the car Sam said the breaks were replaced, they were not. He also didn’t even sell the car to us. He knew nothing about it, the features, or if there were any warranties, and now, less than a week later there is an issue with the breaks and we are getting the brush off. He also checked his phone every chance he got WHILE helping us. We would have NEVER gone back to Lithia. They just happened to be the ONLY place in the valley that had this car. DO NOT GO THERE unless you are wanting to be treated less than human. OH! AND! Brian Burg came out to give us the car fax and introduced himself and the service manager which HE IS NOT! Told us if we didn’t buy the car someone else would. Total creep. These guys get worse and worse and why we will only go to Kendall where they give deals AND are kind. Waiting for the survey so I can also apply this review there. EDIT: Since then, less than a week after we bought the car, the brakes and rotors gave out. WHILE WE WERE ON THE TEST DRIVE we asked about the brakes, Sam, the salesman said they had ALL been replaced. We took the car back and after a lot of back and forth they “found” the brakes and rotors needed to be replaced. Last week we went back at the request of Sam because he said he would pay for the additional key as he ALSO said it came with one but it did not. We went down and he told us we would have to pay, after almost walking out he said the dealership would pay part and he would pay part. He gave my wife the cash out of his wallet so it would look like WE paid for part of it. What kinda show are they running? While the key was being made my wife was walking the lot and AGAIN approached by the slimy Brian Burg and he gave her some statement like “wouldn’t want the same thing to happen to this car like the other”. Insinuating that WE were at fault for the bad breaks and rotors. And lastly, I keep receiving texts from Julia Hamar who my wife said was also extremely rude to her every time she went in. She keeps texting and asking if everything went well and if we could do a survey. I asked who we can complain too and she acted as if she knew nothing about the situation and was also rude. We will NEVER go back there. EVER. Paying cash for a vehicle? Get ready to be treated like garbage! More

Overall it was a good and easy purchasing experience. At moments communication was slow but if you’re proactive you get your questions answered. I traveled over four hours because they had the best price in the state. I live two miles away from Gladstone Toyota and would drive 4 hours any day to avoid Gladstone. Charles W was great to work with. More
