I used to love coming to Toyota and going to Sara she did great and she actually helped you no matter what. I went in today and talked to Phillip and was not pleased at all. He gave me no hope at all and whe great and she actually helped you no matter what. I went in today and talked to Phillip and was not pleased at all. He gave me no hope at all and when I called to check to see if he found anything for me after him telling me it was going to take awhile and to go home. He then told me he was working with another customer and didn’t believe I was going to get approved for anything. Worst experience I’ve ever received at Toyota More

I went in to get a cheap car to run around town in, as I am wanting to keep miles off my primary vehicle. Worked the deal for two days. Ran my credit report twice to get the deal done. Went in at the end of am wanting to keep miles off my primary vehicle. Worked the deal for two days. Ran my credit report twice to get the deal done. Went in at the end of the day to drive the vehicle one more time, after I was approved by my local bank (which dealerships do not like). I was told there were other customers there ready to write a check. I was appalled and at a loss for words. Then I was given the analogy, "It's like when you go to Best Buy for a PlayStation and the people in front of you buy the last one". Fortunately, for me I haven't ever bought locally, as I was going to give it a try. This is not something I really expected from a dealer I was about to spend money at, rather it be 5k or 125K. I have since found a better car for the same price with awesome customer service. However, I hope if you choose to buy a car from this dealership, someone does't come along before you swipe your card, to "write a check". It was clear it wasn't about the customer; it was strictly about who could write the check faster. Thank you, Lithia, for showing your true colors before I spend a dime with your dealership. Also, consider looking at the reviews on Better Business Bureau before doing business here. Kenan and Andrew are clearly about the dollar and not about keeping people coming in to buy local. More
I have updated my review, as I am very pleased with how the dealership rectified the situation. Thank you very much for reaching out and making this right. Excellent! I didn’t have to lift a finger. Steve at Lithia Toyota treated me very well. Their treatment of my trade in was great. He understood my situation I didn’t have to lift a finger. Steve at Lithia Toyota treated me very well. Their treatment of my trade in was great. He understood my situation and helped me with trading in my car. I could not have asked for better treatment and a fair deal. I will continue to trade with Lithia as their treatment of me is far superior to what other dealers offered me in Abilene. I didn’t have to wait 5 hours either. More

Called the sales person and asked about it, “Oh, well I was told it had it, can’t help you.” Took it on a long distance trip, brakes are bad. They did fix that. Now a month out and on another long distance trip. Half way there and the AC has gone out. I’m sorry to say I think I have bought a lemon!! More
Mark Dunagan helped us get the exact vehicle we were looking for. It tough to find inventory and at a fair price without any crazy upcharges. Mark made the process smooth and effortless. Lance was friendly and courteous. Took them over 2 weeks Lance was friendly and courteous. Took them over 2 weeks to do their 60 point checkup on the vehicle. They told me that they have had the vehicle for over a month before I had looked at it so you would have thought they of had it up to par and ready to go. I drove from out of town twice for schedule pickups, when finally Lance volunteered to bring it to me the third time. Lance told me it would come with a operators manual. When he finally made delivery, not only was it missing the manual but also the jack/wrenches and the locking lug nut socket. After several calls to multiple people we were finally told the stuff was on order. Weeks later, we finally received the manual and jack. The Jack did not include the needed tools to operated it like the crank, crank extension or the lug wrench. I tired of dealing with them so I ordered the $120.00 worth of Mopar parts elsewhere. I was told by Lance that Lithia didn't have and couldn't get the lock key socket so I was hung with a vehicle that if it did have a flat or blow out, to I couldn't even change the tire without having call a wrecker come out and haul it to a tire shop. Nothing was even volunteered to remedy this. I finally decided to take it to a tire shop and get them to bust off the locking lugs and install the standard Mopar matching lug nuts for a hefty cost. It's going into the third month and I have not received the tags or the title. When this is all over they won't have to worry about seeing me or any of my friends ever again. More
The integrity of the salesmen that i have worked with was below sub-par and for that they should be ashamed. I was able to test drive the vehicle with no issues however when it came to the financial port below sub-par and for that they should be ashamed. I was able to test drive the vehicle with no issues however when it came to the financial portion of the deal things went very far south. There was a $600 fee that included nitrogen in the tires, some coolant for the engine, and tinted windows. The windows were not tented after i was told 3 times they were. The salesman looked and there were no tinted windows. He then brought back a revised bid. I expressed multiple times that id be financing through a local bank. He continued to assure me that financing through Toyota would allow me to secure the car and refinance the price of "the car" through the bank. What he and Toyota presented to me was a price for the vehicle WITH INTEREST accumulated over their loan term wich would have been $5000 added to their "sale price" of the car. I told him i wanted to wait until the next day due to the banks loan dept being closed and his voice got elevated and his frustration was nothing short of visible when he showed how upset he was that i wouldnt sign for the car at their inflated price of 37000 (with interest included). I get he has a job to do however not being able to control himself when i respectfully declined the deal is pretty sad. I get a call days later that they would sell me the car for 25,000 . This time, Phillip assisted with the sale. He continued to assure me that once i purchased the car and financed WITH TOYOTA that id be able to refinance it through my bank. Mind you, he went through the paperwork and when i had questions on the TOTAL SALE PRICE he told me not to worry about it since i was going to "refinance" through a local bank. I told him no and his face started getting red because i had questions and when i called the bank loan officer and had those two talk, she asksd for the purchase order and invoice as well as some other things. He continued to assist that i sign with them and i said no. He then tells me that they can't sell me the car for the 25,500 price if i dont finance with them. In fact it would go up $3500. I asked why and he said he has to talk to jimmy. I expressed that when they called me the sales price of the car was 25,500 and if its going to go up bc im not financing through them then they can keep it. He told me "well you didnt tell Steve that u wanted to finance with your local bank" and i responded "yes i did". What they tried to get me to do is buy the car for 34,200 (this price included overrall interest for the loan term with toyota) and then refinance it with the bank. Why would a bank finance $34,200 for a car that is only worth about $28-29000 msrp? Thats a total set up. Great job making things seem so easy and honest however this would have screwed me and there is nothing that i could have done about it because even if i refinanced with my local bank, i would have been under and would have had to put a down payment on it or stick with toyota at the 5% interest rate which sticking with toyota would have been the obvious thing to do at that point because the damage would have been already done. Thank you all for opening my eyes to the half truths and non straightforwardness car dealships participate in. Yall really tried to make things seem as easy and honest as possible without full out lying. I knew financing through yall was an effort for yall to recoop that 3500 discount and yes yall would have been taking a loss too. But instead of saying hey we can only do that if you finace with us, yall tried to trick me on a crappy interest rate and tried to give me the assurance that if things went bad with my local bank by refinancing the car, that yall would fix it. Good try Phillip but the beauty of legal paperwork is that words dont mean anything if its not in black and white. Its just that simple. Your response to me looking at the paperwork was "dont worry about it, youre going to refinance anyway". Thank you for lying to my face though. You dont have to volunteer information as a salesman however deliberately misleading people is dishonest and shows a lack of integrity. So i dont trust neither one of you and neither should anyone else. More
