Naomi was exceptional. I had actually spoken to her months ago about buying an Ascent. I wasn’t ready to buy at the time but after speaking with her, I knew I would buy from her when the time came. months ago about buying an Ascent. I wasn’t ready to buy at the time but after speaking with her, I knew I would buy from her when the time came. I can tell that Naomi loves her job. She was confident, knowledgeable, friendly and personable. I never felt pressure from her, just the desire to help me get exactly what I was looking for. And it was not just her, it was the whole team. You guys are awesome !! More

Our experience with Lithia Subaru was the worst car buying experience we've ever had! Buying a car during COVID, we cared about safety protocols at the dealership: Lithia didn’t see to have any (even t buying experience we've ever had! Buying a car during COVID, we cared about safety protocols at the dealership: Lithia didn’t see to have any (even though they told us they did over the phone). A few employees had masks on but there was clearly no policy. There was no sanitizer (their “COVID station” was a container of bleach wipes), and people were not keeping distance. *Ive since learned they’ve remedied their covid protocols and now have strict policies in place. After the test drive, we expressed concern about the condition of the tires. We were happy to split the cost of new tires, but Lithia wouldn’t budge. The tires had visible bulges and cuts in the sidewall; a safety issue. We had to pay out of pocket to replace. Once we were ready to purchase, they showed us the price we saw online, but then added in several line items we were not expecting. The car was advertised as a Certified Preowned car, but the “out the door price” was several hundred more than advertised. He told us we needed to purchase the certification from Lithia in order to have the car be certified. After not offering clarity beyond, “That’s just how it works.”, I looked it up later and realized it could be an FTC to sell a car above the advertised price. Nowhere on the website or listing did it say the certification was extra. In fact, the CarFax report listed the car as Certified before Lithia took ownership of it. We told the salesperson that was a dealbreaker for us, and he said he’d include the Certificate for free. We turned down warranty add-ons because there was no paperwork shown to us that disclosed the terms of each warranty. They told us to purchase the $2,200 bumper to bumper warranty, which would give us 4 new tires, then cancel the warranty after getting the new tires. Not only did this feel confusing, it also felt dishonest and like a decision we were being pressured into. We felt extremely uncomfortable with this suggestion. Not only was it confusing thinking about canceling a warranty and how it would affect our financing, but since they felt the need to whisper the idea to us, it seemed like he was suggesting something illegal. The transaction took much longer than we were told it would. One of us had to leave the dealership to relieve our babysitter, and the other moved on to financing. As soon as the finance person was told we weren’t adding warranties or extras, the mood shifted. There was confusion about our down payment and the amount we’d be financing. We brought our checkbook, but then we were told we had to come back the next day with a cashiers check. There were also issues with the interest rate: the rate we were approved for was only offered if we agreed to add warranties we didn’t want. This resulted in us having to completely re-run the numbers and re-do paperwork the next day. It was super stressful. Upon signing everything, the finance person walked out with the keys and didn’t even say “congrats” or “thank you”. When we got the car home, we saw that the “detail and clean” we were promised while we did paperwork equaled a rinse. The back wheel wells were caked with mud and the interior wasn’t touched. We regret purchasing this car from Lithia, as nearly no part of the experience went as expected. A few days after everything was settled, I reached out to the dealership management to give feedback and give them the opportunity to make things right (like the original tire deal and/or full detail of the car). The manager made excuses and didn’t offer to change anything. We were disappointed after our experience with Lithia. We were stressed about the paperwork issue, we are disappointed about the damaged tires that we have to shell out hundreds for, and felt uncomfortable with employees who seemed annoyed with us and tried pressuring us into programs/add-ons we weren’t interested in. We will never be shopping with Lithia again. More
"certified pre-owned" but significant damages and faults were not disclosed. Signing price was higher than the sticker price after receiving promise that prices would not change. Was promised full ta were not disclosed. Signing price was higher than the sticker price after receiving promise that prices would not change. Was promised full tank and a washed car, but tank was under half and filthy on the outside. Brian repeatedly asked me to leave a 5 star review just for paying for an Uber. He pleaded for me to leave a 5 star review several times before I even paid for or received the vehicle. I paid for the extended warranty and oil changes, but based on my experience, I don't even trust coming back here for any service. Utterly unprofessional, disorganized and dishonest. More
Brian was the best! He listened to all of my questions and concerns, helping me find a car that fit what I wanted. Poor customer service Yesterday I called the service department of the Oregon City Subaru and asked how much an oil change would be for my 2011 outback. They told me $39.99 Yesterday I called the service department of the Oregon City Subaru and asked how much an oil change would be for my 2011 outback. They told me $39.99 and that included a tire rotation and all fluids topped off. So after I got off the phone I went to Oregon City Subaru service center to get a normal oil change. When I got there, they told me the wait would be around 45 minutes. When I went into the waiting room, there were only two people other than I in there. After an hour went by I then inquired about my car as I had limited time and needed to return to work. They were frantically looking around for my paperwork and said they didn't know where my info was for my car. They finally found it minutes later. Darrick Wilson at the front desk told me no, it wasn't finished and only 15 more minutes. He was not professional and or courtesy to me when answering my questions. I then waited an additional 30 minutes and then inquired again. It was finally done and I went to pay. When I spoke to the person who was taking my money (can't remember his name), I asked that they rotated my tires like they said they would? The man said, no, I don't see that info on the service document on what was done. So to conclude; I waited nearly 2 hours for an oil change when there was only like two people in the waiting room when I arrived and they failed to rotate my tires like they said they would. Also I ended up being late for work due to the long unexpected wait. I would not recommend going here to get an oil change unless you have all day and are not concerned about what is actually being done to your vehicle. I was very upset when I left. I even tried to talk to the express service guy when you drive in and he didn't even respond. Poor customer service. More
We really appreciated working with Naomi. She even helped us be able to view the car we were interested in after normal business hours. Overall we were very happy with the service we received here, though I us be able to view the car we were interested in after normal business hours. Overall we were very happy with the service we received here, though I was a bit disappointed they advertise some cars as CPO, but then charge extra during the sale to actually get the CPO benefits.
