I enjoyed the buying process right until I had to deal with the finance department. The person really wanted me to buy an extended warranty and wouldn’t take no for an answer. I have normally receive excellent customer service from Lithia Subaru but this last time (last week) there was room for improvement! I went in for a check engine light issue and an oil change. After w Lithia Subaru but this last time (last week) there was room for improvement! I went in for a check engine light issue and an oil change. After waiting 2 hours which is how long I was told the spot would be the could fine nothing wrong but believed my engine warning was triggered by limited driving. I was then told the oil change would be 30 min. I tried texting my service advisor as I was instructed to do if I had any concerns with no response after I hadn’t heard anything 1.5 hrs later. In approx 30 min later I am informed my rear brake pads are below minimum of where they need to be and am told it will be another 2 hrs. They made arrangements for a ride home at this point and 4.5 hrs later my car was ready. I had someone coming to my home and I left a message to this effect that I needed to be back by a specific time with no call back. So in summary ETA of work could have been improved as well as communication! More
