This is the second brand new Subaru I have bought from Lithia Subaru, both from the sales associate, David Castillo. I found working with Mr. Castillo very unintimidating and supportive. His mission is truly helping his customer get exactly what s/he wants, even when the customer her/himself is not exactly sure what that is. With David Castillo there is no hard sell or pressure; he just does his best to make the purchase possible for the customer with a calm, friendly and patient demeanor that helps everything go smoothly and easily. For my sale, Mr. Castillo drove my new car from Oregon City to my home in SE Portland and then all the way to the airport to return a rental car and then back to Oregon City. He did this willingly and cheerfully after a long, exhausting day and many hours of working through the details of the sale. This was immensely helpful as I did not have anyone that night who could help with the return of the rental car. Mr. Castillo just took it as a given that he would help[ with these tasks, no questions asked. He has made it clear that he will stay in touch and help with any questions or issues I may have with the new Forrester. Also noteworthy was Rick, the business office person who carefully and cheerfully with a good sense of humor explained each form that I had to sign. His friendly, upbeat attitude was an uplifting breath of fresh air just as my energy had begun to wane after spending several hours at the dealership. The overall atmosphere of Lithia Subaru is one of personal, concerned service that is sensitive to each person's individuality and needs. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone in the market to buy a car. More

They were very patient as we test drove and did a great job giving us information about each car. Once I found the car I wanted, they got me a great deal and the process was quick and easy! My wife took our car in for a oil change and to check the code that was blinking in the dash. They changed the spark plugs. She came buy to pick up the car and it ran worse then it ever did. They charged 400.00 and said we needed a 2500.00 valve job. We decided to get another estimate. She got two blocks away and the car dyed from running so bad. She tried to tell them something was wrong before she left but they would not listen to her and turned and walked away. We then had it towed to another shop. The oil was low and the shop found out they put the plug wires on backwards that are color coded so that wont happen. The cadalatic converter also had been blown out from them doing this and now they dont want to pay for the damages they caused. This doesnt seem right.We didnt need a valve job the problem was them putting the car back together wrong. I had tried to talk about this to the general manager but he didnt want to hear me out, my wife has spoke to him numerous times and he is still unreasonable. More
